Overnight stayPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: update decor
Location: Lovely little town, with the advice of the staff there are very nice places to visit, locally and easy to get around.
For an overnight stay, in an unfamiliar place, this motel was fine, clean and comfortable. the staff was welcoming, informative and accomodating. The town is pretty and the location was good for me. I would consider this a "no frills" motel but surprisingly had a lot of amenities to offer. If I had to use one word, I would say "reasonable".

Affordable hotel in WilliamstownPosted Nov 18, 2013
The Williamstown Motel was a very pleasant surprise! The room was very clean and spacious with plenty of towels and a comfortable bed. Our room also had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker with an area to store any goodies we had for our trip. The flat screen tv and pullout couch also in the room made it comfortable to catch up on news and check email using the free wifi. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, giving my husband suggestions for activities in and around Williamstown. Continental breaksfast was enough to take the edge off of you morning hunger, a lot of quick choices, cereal, bagels, toast, pastry and fresh fruit to go along with cofee, juice, and tea. The best part about theWillliamstown Motel is the honesty of the employees. My husband and I both left out coats in the room. As we checked out and went about our day several hours later we remembered we left out coats. My husband called and sure enough they had our coats waiting for us. I have done this before with other garmets at different hotel and gone back within an hour and my garmets had vanished. Sure says something about the honesty of the employees of the Williamstown Motel. For the money, I would definitely stay there again!

Small but GreatPosted Sep 6, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness, good service, comfortable bed.
Location: The area is gorgeous. It's only a few miles from the Mass. museum of contemporary art, which is wonderful to visit.
The rooms are very small but are impeccably clean and nicely furnished, even including a mini-fridge. The owners are extremely nice and really seem to take pride in the place. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was a nice plus. For the price, it was a good value.

Exactly what we neededPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were in town for the night after a wedding and needed a clean bedroom. We got exactly that. Small, but nice and clean. No frills but no grime. Exactly what we were looking for at a price that could not be beat. We'll be staying here next time we visit for sure.

Nice, pleasant motel, perfect for overnight stopPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
As the only motel stop on our trip around New England, expectations from booking this property were lower than some of the hotels we had booked, and so there was a sense of trepidation on arrival. What we found was a well run and organised facility, staffed by a likeable family, who were warm and welcoming. A human touch of being shown to the rooms, and yes, whilst the rooms weren't the most spacious, they were clean, the beds comfortable and the shower clean and both with good pressure and warm. Breakfast the following morning was a simple but substanial affair - plenty of breaded goods (and prepared pastries, plus fresh donurts) with spreads and jam, fruit, juice and yogurt. The decor was tired yes, and the only downsides were the slightly noisy 'old style' AC unit and a musty smell on entering the room. Above average (so 'very good') for a motel, and a good place for a one-night stop before starting the Mohawk Trail or visiting Williamstown or southern Vermont. It is located usefully for a local supermarket and the owners provide excellent restaurant reviews.

Lovely couple run this well-maintained motelPosted Aug 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay at the Williamstown Motel. The couple who run it are helpful and very pleasant. Nice to have coffee every morning in the hotel lobby. We purchased food for a little picnic and ate it on the pleasant patio. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We would definitely book again!

A decent placePosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
This "motel" is not bad if you waited too long and are having difficulty finding a room, but it's certainly not going to be first on anyone's list. I read some reviews about the room being too small and about poor cleanliness -- these weren't issues. The mattresses are not comfortable, and even though there are numerous knobs/buttons on the old-school window AC unit they didn't work, and I couldn't control the temperature properly; the room never got cool enough. Proprietor (who lives on site) also seemed annoyed that I checked in shortly after 10 PM and curtly said he was getting ready to call me if I hadn't shown up soon. Location is convenient, and parking right outside your room is a perk.

Motel changing ownership and is being refurbished. Comfortable bed and despite small size and age of construction the room had hair dryer, ironing board, free wifi and good cable, making it a decent value. However, towels were thin, air conditioning noisy, and the room had a strong smell of disinfectant.
