“Grand time at Grand Isle”

The Grand Isle is amazingly beautiful in terms of setting, rooms,pool, and beach. The rooms & decor are absolutely first class. The Grand Isle staff is courteous, helpful & interesting. The chef during our week was terrific; she cooked various types of fish in delicious fashion. My only complaint is that the servers were slow. My wife & I love this place & the island iteslf. The seas are clear blue, and always find enough to do on boat trips & visiting beaches, bars & restaurants around the island.

extraordinaire stay we was open mouth when we saw the room and amenities retired I was for 50 years in hospitality industry , but I was suprise how everythings was fabulous I will not hesitate to recommande this hotel/villa.

“Exceeded my Expectations!!!!”

The Grand Isle exceeded my expectations! The rooms were very luxurious (and we purchased the one bedroom Garden View), very clean, top of the line appliances & decor. The people were so friendly and very helpful. I only encountered one young lady at the restaurant that didn't meet my expectations, but the others were out of this world friendly. Shug is the best server/bartender and Linda, front desk, is incredibly helpful. The Exumas are so different from the Abacos as far as service goes. In the Abacos, you are lucky to get served period-- forget about promptness or a smile. But here, they went out of their way to make you happy. I think the Grand Isle is such an undiscovered secret. It is super nice & not very busy. The pool was great, the gym was super nice, the restaurant was good with a decent & basic menu. I read other reviews about the restaurant and I must agree. It is the only place around for you to eat, but I can see how the menu can get old if you stay longer than 4 or 5 days. We stayed 5 days, but went fishing one day & brought back fish so we were able to cook in our room. No breakfast is served so you'll need to make an easy trip to the grocery store for food. My only complaint is the Taxi fares mandated by the government are outrageously expensive. We didn't rent a car & got along fine though. The Grand Isle set up the taxis for us and always chose a top notch driver. One even gave us a tour while we had some extra time traveling to the airport.

“Beautiful condo”

Beautiful luxury condo. The grounds are immaculate. The employees were extremely friendly and did everything they could to make your stay enjoyable. I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Enjoyed snorkeling and kayaking and just relaxing on the beach and at the pool.

“Out Island Paradise”

If you are looking for the Out Island Experience with a luxury flare. This is the place. I have been going to Great Exuma for years and stayed at many of the hotel and houses in the area. The Four Season's Hotel was a great addition to the area but this is the best by far. The service and facilities are impeccable. The rooms are PERFECT. The staff greats you by name and always has a smile. The rooms come with a golf cart that is very handy when visiting the near by store, resort and marina. Use the complimentary pick up from the airport if you are not going toe rent a car. Go enjoy the Golf, Water, Pool or Rooms and you will want to come back.....

“Returning for a week in August.”

Great views, great beach, best golf anywhere, excellent food and service. This will be our fifth visit. We wish we didn't have to leave.

“We loved the Grand Isle & Great Exuma”

The setting above the aquamarine sea was ideal, the rooms were beautifully appointed, and the people we met throughout the island were very friendly. The staff at the Grand Isle were knowledgeable & willing to help with any matter. And having the association/availability of the Four Seasons & the golf course next door gave us plenty to do. In short, my wife & I loved our stay at Grand Isle.

“Absolutely fabulous”

We were greeted with a smile and shown to a great condo. It was well maintained and clean as a whistle. A bottle of wine is presented to all guests upon check-in. Golf carts are available for trips around the resort as well as the local grocery. We can't wait to go back!

Grand Isle Resort and Spa is one of the best Resort I visited! The staff was very kind with us, the room was so confortable, in order and very clean. There was everything you need for a relaxing and wonderful holidays. The hotel's beach is one of the best of the Isle, wide and quite;You could get to there in 1 minute, to get down to the stairs.
