Copley house was great! the room was perfect, clean, and comfortable, the location was perfect, and the price was reasonable. I think you'd have to be very picky to have a problem with this place. It may have been different in the past or something, but from my experience its a great choice.

Super Cozy

If you're looking for a cozy place, and trying to avoid the big chain hotel feel, this is the place to go. My expectations were exceeded in many regards, specifically by how accommodating the hotel and staff were. I stayed in a single room at their main building, and I highly recommend it to solo travelers. Having a kitchen can save you a lot of money vs eating out, but the location is very close to a bunch of awesome restaurants. If you know what you're getting into, this place is worth the stay.

Pros: location free phone and computer
Location: Prudential center and Boston fine arts museum are close.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. She was really good. It is very close to Prudential center and Newburry st. T station is in the Prudential center so convenience to use subway. It has a computer and printer for visitor in the lobby. I lost my mobile at that time, it was very useful. In addition, making phone calls are free. Mini kitchin in the room is good as well. It is not so modern building but very cozy

Rude

Employee came up telling us to turn off our lights and go to sleep and proceeded to use foul language. Never felt like more of a child in my life. Not a place to stay for a night out in the city, you need to be as quiet as a mouse apparently.

Pros: location; very quiet
Cons: Only had a deadbolt lock. Could use another inside security lock.
Location: Located on quiet residential street close to Prudential Center, Hynes Convention Center, Copley Square, Back Bay Station and Back Bay corridor park
Needed Back Bay hotel while visiting family members in the area

Perfect hotel for the right price

Posted Jan 9, 2015
Pros: The room
Location: Malls, taxis, South End in 5 minute walk's distance where there are restaurants and places to go for drinks. Subway stop in short distance.
I paid about 112 for a one night stay; this includes my 87 room charge, plus tax, plus 15 dollar parking surcharge (parking is offered first come first serve). For me this was very affordable compared to the other hotels in the area that charge 100 or more room charge not including tax or parking. The room was very clean and very comfortable. I woke up refreshed and I was comfortable in the bed and the sheets felt clean and nothing looked or felt questionable when I used the large fluffy (and comfortable) bed cover. Very tasteful and classic Boston decor; nice wood mantle and a cool healthy bamboo plant on the wood table. The studio was spacious considering it included a dining table, queen sized bed, couch, stove, and sink! I was able to work out and stretch, make tea and relax. The shower is clean as well as the entire bathroom. I recommend this hotel highly to business travelers who plan to be in the area for a short time. But I also recommend this to couples, single travelers, and even families! I recommend it to everyone because of its price, location and cleanliness. The area is well frequented by taxis, and the subway station is 10 minute walk away. 7/11 within a block's walk. Very nice malls also in a few block's distance. Superb experience. Kitchen has tea kettle, pots and pans, cups, mugs, plates, glasses, everything you need if you actually wanted to live out of the apartment. I used the stove to make tea

An OK place to stay. More suited to couples.

I stayed at Copley House for 3 days and overall, the experience wasn't bad. This place is definitely more appropriate for couples and as a single traveler, I felt a little bit disconnected from the city and the purpose of my stay. The quality of the room and the cleanliness were a bit questionable (finding bugs in the bathtub was not pleasant). There's definitely plenty of places in Boston that are more affordable for much better quality, but this isn't dreadful by any means. I'm just perhaps used to top-quality places and this is a far cry from being one.
