“A Great Hotel in Darwin”

Hotel staff people were very helpful. Hotel security stored our hunting rifles in their gun safe so that we could comply with the laws while we were touring around. They even stored the guns for us while we went to Kakadu Park for two days.

Great hotel with a wonderful beach although it was not safe to go in the water because of the crocs and box jelly fish - but the view was outstanding. The Chinese restaurant was excellent - we ate in it twice. Staff was very helpful. We were on our way to the outback to hunt so we were traveling with riffles - the staff was professional in handling the firearms with little stress.

it is hard to find anything wrong with this hotel... except it has a boring casino attached... but the restaurants were very nice... there was free laundromat which was a surprise... we had an ocean view room with perfect access to the Mindl weekly market next door... The staff was formal and efficient...nothing more... the room was first rate with a safe and dehumidifier and very nice sheets.. after camping in the Bush... it was a great oasis to come back to the best in Darwin
