Great location, and accommodating staff!Posted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: The staff, the thick curtains on the windows (Northern Europe stays very bright late into the night during summer.)
Cons: The room heating, and perhaps the dinging room needs updating.
Location: The hotel was close to everything I needed between the embassy and "funky" neighborhoods north and south. It was great to get official work done, then
I had huge emergencies happen while I was staying the Petit and the staff were extremely helpful tome as I worked them out. From lost luggage to needing quick access to laundry (something in my bag exploded!) the staff were friendly and creative in assisting me. The only complaint I had was that the rooms were a bit overheated -- but I find that to be true all over Europe (I am American.)

Wonderful staff.Posted Feb 16, 2012
Pros: Lovely staff.
Location: Nice area to walk around and close to the places we needed to visit.
Front desk staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Good location - easy walking distance to key spots. Our room overlooked the park opposite and was quiet, despite being on a fairly busy street. Very cosy.

You will be happy at Hotel HestiaPosted Jun 5, 2010
Our room was large and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the hotel's little courtyard. It was very quiet at night. Breakfasts were everything we needed, in a pleasant setting. Great location for the museums, and a good neighborhood for restaurants and for getting around town. Staff were personable and helpful. Elevator for anyone who's nervous about the tight stairs--we didn't use it. I enjoyed watching the green parrots who came each evening to the birdfeeder. We stayed here a week. It was a lovely choice.
