Really close to the picturesque centre, but also to the station. Room small but comfortable, especially the bed. Problem with the radiator, which did not always come on. A portable heater was provided, but this was less efficient and a bit noisy. Heating system probably needs a fix. Otherwise great, I will use this hotel next time I go to Delft.

Great place for a Delft visit
This is a wonderful small canal-side hotel a short walk from the train station and the sights of Delft’s historic town center. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent, with plenty warm and cold options.

Great hotel
Great hotel in historic building. Check in was easy, staff incredibly friendly, room very clean. Looks like there has been recent refresh in bathroom and bedroom. Portable A/C worked great. Bed and pillows comfortable. Earplugs are provided due to outside noise but they aren’t the “strongest” ones available. Be sure to ask for ground floor if stairs are a problem as there’s no elevator. Very convenient to train station and town. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

It was lovely staying at this hotel on the canal with our room overlooking the water. The staff were attentive and very friendly. We received complementary drinks and snacks to enjoy outside in the seating area of the hotel to watch the beautiful scenery.

In summer you should know there is no AC The breakfast is okay, but costs more than local restaurants you can walk to. Room 1 has crazy wiring for lights. It took us forever to turn on just the bathroom light. Bathroom is very tiny. Get the upgraded rooms, the base one offered is too small. Close to the train station and the centrum of delft.

Good location near Delft station, canals and city centre. Staff were helpful, hotel very clean. Our only difficulty was noise at night, where were these people coming from or going to in the early hours and why do they have to shout?

The location is perfect. Close to the train station like a min walk but you dont hear the train at all. Close to all shops and walkable everywhere. Right on the canal so some noise during the day but we were kostly gone. Hot and no air cond. In the summer it would be very hot. Service is not great. They have little knowledge of the town if any. We had to remind them of the perk, then they forgot and give us one bag of chips in compensation. They emailed us later to tell us that we owed bottles of water when we had none. Lovely lounge tho. Breakfast seemed nice but we had a nicer and cheaper one in old town. Also the noise from upstair cleaning in the morning because the walls are not well insonorised. They actually provide earplugs.

Being situated on the canal adds to the charm, although there may be some noise during the day.The hotel is located in a monumental building, which limits certain modifications like installing air conditioning due to restrictions on external units. While this constraint explains the absence of air conditioning, it's important for potential guests to be aware that the rooms can become hot, particularly in the summer months.Regarding the service, it's unfortunate that you felt the staff had limited knowledge of the town. They lady checking you in lives more then 10 years in Delft and knows all the inns and outs of the city. However, it's still important for them to be knowledgeable and helpful to assist guests as much as possible. The oversight in forgetting a perk and compensating with only one bag of chips is disappointing. Additionally, the miscommunication about owing bottles of water when you hadn't received any is regrettable.On a positive note, it's great to hear that the hotel has a lovely lounge area and that the breakfast seemed nice. The issue of noise from the cleaning activities upstairs in the morning due to poor soundproofing is understandable given the limitations of a historical building. We provide earplugs to mitigate the disturbance, although ideally, efforts should be made to improve sound insulation for guests' comfort.Thank you for providing your feedback while considering the limitations of the monumental building. Comfy bed, clean, good location
Lovely simple, clean hotel in ideal spot in town. Super comfy bed. The staff we met were friendly. Good shower which is always a must in a hotel! Didnt have the breakfast as it was rather pricey plus we were there to see friends who live in town so had lots of other recommendations. It was rather lovely looking out directly on to a canal. I thought the tea/coffee stuff was a bit mean spirited...only 2 coffee pods for free then you had to buy them...but quite a number of teabags?? Also only 2 creamer sachets...which werent replaced each day, neither were the little biscoffs...such a tiny thing but made a difference....

A Magical Night In Delft
We only stayed for one night but I wisht we had stayed longer. For someone who's in love with Bruges, Delft feels like a Bruges' identical twin. Regarding the hotel - it was fantastic. The room was cute and clean with a canal view! The receptionists were really helpful giving us useful tips and preparing our breakfast in advance as we had to leave early the next day. They also gave us a discount to a 3 course menu at one of the local restaurants, which we ended up using and it was definitely worth it. I'm hoping to come back to Delft next year and I will be searching for this hotel specifically for sure.

Property is exactly as advertised on Expedia. Clean room, updated furnishings, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very convenient to the train station and the main town square. My room was on the ground floor, which I normally don’t like. But when the canal is right outside the room, you know you are in The Netherlands.

Excellent Characterful Hotel in Great Location
The hotel is very friendly and comfortable. Obviously it is an old building so some of the floors are not level and there are quite a few changes in level and little steps around the breakfast area, so if you are unsteady on your feet be carefull. In all other aspects the hotel is excellent.

Great hotel in charming building, centrally located. Windows right on a main canal. Was a little noisy while we were there because of the student orientation week but it was fine with the windows closed, and the hotel provided ear plugs :) Breakfast was outstanding!

Quaint, small hotel central to all the main market area of Delft. Royal Delft is a quick 15 min walk. The staff were great - checkin and out were a breeze. The bathroom was tiny. The room was ample. Bed was great. Only issue was the noise. We could hear our upstairs neighbor stomping the floor, our next door neighbor chatting and being active. And the street noise was unbearable until about 4 am. We only heard it because we like to sleep with our windows open for the cool air. At 4 we had enough and closed them and then the noise wasn’t so bad. But it’s to be expected in the business core in a college town. We loved our stay overall and would stay here again. Especially for the price - under €100. We normally try to pick 4 star and higher properties but we were traveling with our dog and this place was the only centrally located, walkable, pet friendly, non-chain hotel we could find. It was perfect.

The hotel is located in a 400 year old building and we are located in the center of Delft. We do have a number of adjustments in the building to limit the noise, including soft-closing doors and volume limit on the TV. Delft goodwill hotel
The best hotel to book. The best hotel to stay in. The best hotel for customer goodwill. Theyre amazing. Highly recommend the hotel. Just hope the countey is open to let you in and planes to get you there. Dont let that stop you booking though.

Great location, comfortable hotel
Beds are so comfortable, friendly staff, healthy breakfast buffet with varieties and very fresh. Location is amazing near the center and the station. Canal view definitely charming.

Good stay!
Really nice decor and friendly staff. Modern but at the same time authentic feel. Awesome location. Small negatives: Tap was a bit loose in bathroom and maybe would be nice to have shower screen rather than curtain. A bottle of water is always appreciated and a few small noises from adjacent rooms like coat rails and ventilation systems could be heard in the room but not major.
