Nice modernised hotel, not far from beachPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Our room had plenty of storage and shelving so we could unpack comfortably. Good shower! Good selection breakfast buffet! Nice location.
Cons: Coffee machines were braking down during the breakfast, staff had to make coffee per order at the bar. Too dim in the restaurant at breakfast time.
Location: The beach, the harbour, the best fish eateries! Take a tram or walk 15 mins. I would say it's the nicest beach with the nicest beach town Scheveningen
Pleasantly surprised by how everything was modern in this Novotel! Nice walk in shower, huge flat screen Tv, xbox games for kids, perfectly efficient lifts. The staff was generous and responsive. Everything we asked for we got straight away. What else we could wish for... Also it is 15-20 min walk to the beach and the harbour with the best fish restaurants! We just loved that!

Overnighter en route to Hoek Harwich FerryPosted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and tidy and big enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Nice interactive electronic guide in the foyer too!
Cons: On site restaurant could have more child friendly menus but that may be a little harsh.
Location: 30 mins walk from the town centre and the beech.
We used this as an overnight stay and found the hotel relatively easily with god car parking facilities, albeit at an extra cost. Room was good for 2 adults and 2 children, with the usual sofa bed arrangement. We didn't eat in the hotel but used local restaurants for both evening meal and breakfast, which are plentiful within walking distance. God views over Den Haag.

Overall the hotel was good.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Cons: Would like to have a shower curtain. Parking system as well - may be only one ticket for the whole stay instead of getting one each time.
Staff very polite and helpful. Enjoy my stay in Den Haag.

Great hotel convenient to the beach and the cityPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The staff and room comfort
Cons: The cleanliness of the room
Location: You can bike to the beach or take public transportation to the city
The hotel location was great, close to public transportation. The hotel also has bicycles available and the city is very bike friendly. We were met by a very friendly staff early in the morning. Although the official check-in time was three p.m. they offered our rooms immediately which was very important for us, since we flew all night from the U.S. Highly recommend this hotel

A few surprises!Posted May 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had booked 3 nights through your website at this hotel for 3 persons. When we arrived we were hit with an additional 35 Euro per night charge for our 3rd person, even though the hotel is set up for 3 to a room (there are two beds and a sofa sleeper in every room). We arrived and they were surprised at the 3rd person even though they had the 3rd bed all set up and stated that the prices were for double occupancy so we would have to pay for the extra person. We complained to Hotels.com and they gave us a $50 credit on a future booking, not exactly the 35 Euro per night for 3 nights but they did give us something for the inconvenience. Novatel which is primarily a business hotel when I inquired about a meeting room or a private space told me there was no such thing on the premise. We had to hold a private meeting in the bar areas with noise and kids playing video games in the lobby next door. On our final day we walked by a meeting room with a private space and a door that closes that was being used by another group. Apparently they forgot they had a private meeting room when I asked. Very disappointed!

We had a great stay. Clean comfortable room, good breakfast and great location. Parking at e20 a night though was shocking.

Good HotelPosted Apr 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
There was very expensive overnight parking in the hotel, however managed to find some free parking behind the hotel.Location is OK, but away from city centre and also away from the sea front.

Disappointed!Posted Apr 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The food was in general very disappointing. Overall quality of the hotel did not at all live up to its worldly name. Rally just a generic hotel with good access to the convention center. They could do much better....

Useful for conferencesPosted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: If attending a conference at the World Forum the location can't be beat, and it's quiet.
Cons: More food options on room service and somewhere selling sandwiches or lunch food. Also, cleanliness!
Location: Nothing nearby unless you get the tram to Den Haag itself.
This is a standard Novotel and is fine if you're attending an event at the World Forum attached. It could do with a cafe to buy food during the day as there isn't much in the area. When I checked in their was pickle or something similar all over the safe door and on the floor beside it, which didn't give me a great impression of their standards of cleanliness, but when I called housekeeping they did come straight away. The hotel is nice and quiet at night and the TV has some English language channels, which was a bonus.
