I would certainly choose this B&B again!

Posted Jul 3, 2014
This is the first time I stayed in a B&B due to a last-minute travel arrangement. The experience turned out to be a great one. The room albeit small was clean with a wash basin. The bathroom and washroom are shared, but they were kept very clean. I particularly liked the bright dining room looking outside from the large windows; I used the room to work with my laptop during the evenings. Most of all, the staff at Soul-Inn was very friendly and helpful; they made my first leg in Netherlands very pleasant.

Modest but charming

Pros: Great price, great location, comfortable, clean, friendly, playful...
Cons: Nothing, given the price range.
Location: 10 minute walk to the train station, 15 minute walk to the old city centre.
What a lovely, funky little hotel! The hotel is a short walk to the train station and the old city centre, and tucked away in a nice, quiet residential neighbourhood. It is very inexpensive and definitely not a luxury hotel, but it provided everything a traveler needs, all with creative, funky, hospitable little touches. The room was spare, but the mattresses and linens were good quality. Water pressure, wifi, etc. are all good. The cleanliness is outstanding. And, the breakfast buffet is really excellent. The staff are warm and friendly, and the whole place has a really lovely, warm, hippy vibe. There are coloured pencils, chalk (and a chalkboard), candy, biscuits, magazines, comfy seating and an espresso machine in the common areas. And the rooms themselves are quiet, comfortable and cozy. If I return to Delft, I will definitely stay here again.

So glad I've decided to stay at Delft rather than Rotterdam, Delft itself is a very lovely town, and it is a great base to visit nearby area! Soul Inn is a very comfortable B&B with very nice owner. The common area is always clean, will definitely come back!

Inexpensive but adequate. We were in room 10, which has an en-suite bathroom - most share WC and showers, located along the corridor. Breakfast simple but included. All very pleasant.

Fun decor and great breakfast at Soul Inn!

I was born in Delft so wanted to bring my 14 yr. old son to visit. Soul Inn was a big hit with him! Each room is different and the place is very unique and fun. The hotel was a great location for us because we could park our car free but it was a quick walk to the heart of historic Delft., which is all pedestrian. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was a simple but generous and tasty - yogurts, cereals, fruits, breads, cheeses, meats, etc. Not American style eggs, etc. but I don't eat like that at home either so it was perfect for me.

Soul Inn - Like being Austin Powers

When we arrived we had to be buzzed in, as there were no staff about. This wasn't a hassle and the friendly lady explained everything over the phone before opening the door remotely. We arrived into the room which was the epitome of retro textured 69s wallpaper a huge palm tree which on closer inspection turned out to be a lamp as well as some other very retro touches. We made it up for breakfast which was laid out for us, and was included in the cost when we stayed. All in all nothing special a few cereals some nice bread and croissants, a selection of hams and cheese, yohgurts and orange juice although the shot glasses you are given to drink said orange juice are a tad in the ridiculous side. The hotel is 10 mins walk away from the station and 5mins into the centre of Delft a perfect location in my opinion and set in a nice area.sheets were changed daily and beds were horrendously comfortable but possibly a tad in the soft side. Another thing to note is the showers which are unbelievable temperature and power spot on!! all in all great value for money, good service, great location, funky rooms. 9.5/10
