"Downtown Boston luxury!"
Downtown Boston accommodations are expensive. On top of the room expense, everything else is over-and-above, like valet parking and daily Wi-Fi charges. Also, expect staff to be everywhere with their hand out expecting tips. But we knew enough and expected all this before booking. It is all the price for location, and their location is good. It is close to Boston Common, subway, tours, etc. The only downside was that our room would not cool off enough for sleeping. Overall, we stayed three nights in the lap of luxury and loved it.

Pocket Guide: Theatre District - Downtown Crossing, Boston LGBT Welcoming Hotels

Boston’s centerpiece is the Common, America’s oldest public park. The park features a historic graveyard, Swan Boats, and the Frog Pond—an ice skating rink in the winter. The gold dome of the state house sits above the common. The area is heavy with history, and visitors can find references to founding fathers even among the modern buildings of the Theatre District and Downtown Crossing.
