Good Motel

Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Very nice at a budget price in todays market.
Location: Hot Springs
Pleasing experience. The room was set up with 2 beds in separate rooms, both with TV. This may not be a five star hotel, but for a road trip it was a very pleasant surprise. We only wish we had more time in the region.

Home away from home

We had a great time on this trip, the accomadation were simple, but good enough for someone who normally is a bit picky about her stay. The location couldn't have been any better for our purposes, Guys went fishing and girls visited hot springs. The staff were friendly and available to help when needed or provide information on local activities. I plan on staying here on my future visits.

Very friendly manager/owner

This was a very good place for me because it was quiet and the water was hot. It is near enough to the park and all of the features of the area, but inexpensive by comparison. I recommend it.

Nice owner; old hotel

It was in decent condition for an old hotel. The owner was friendly and responsive to our requests. Cost quite a bit for such an old place, but everything else in Thermop was even more expensive.

Great Place!

This charming Motel was clean, comfortable and affordable. The decor & tv were retro, like the gold sparkly bathroom floor, which we found charming. The owner is friendly, helpful and accommodating and it's a 10 minute walk from the hot springs.

If you wish a trip back to the 1950's, this is the hotel for you!! Overall, hotel was OK but kinda creepy. The owner has cameras all over the premises. We kept our dog in the car at night and the owner saw us feeding the dog on one of his cameras. He asked if we were going to sneak it into our room. (Answer: no). There is a sign in the room that "pet sneak-ins" will be charged $125!! The hotel is on the main highway but not too noisy. We like to walk when we visit a new area and the hotel was close to downtown. But, overall, I don't think we'd stay there again.

More for the construction workers.

Posted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: The owner was very personable.
Cons: Just about everything.
Location: A nice area to pass through. The scenery is beautiful if headed north to Cody and/or Yellowstone.
The hotel was very "old" and set up more for the construction workers needing a place to stay after a long work day. The room was right next to the main street; we were told not to worry as the " traffic dies down after nine o'clock". Not so, it was noisy. The window in the bathroom was broken, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the room itself was very small. Two people couldn't pass between the bottom of the bed and the dresser. Not worth the price we paid.
