If travelling by bus 78 from airport, it's about 12 minutes. Need to get off at IKEA. Costs about 1 euro. Signage to hotel is not apparent so you will need to ask for directions. About 8 mins walk from bus stop to hotel. The hotel itself is very nice and staff are really friendly. Breakfast is good. But as I'm vegetarian they were very kind and made me my own special hot breakfast each morning. Bedroom and bathroom well designed and modern. Cleanliness pretty good too. Was cold during our stay (March 2015) and was able to use central heating, and was given extra blanket. Closest mall (Cosmos) is about a 15 minute walk from hotel. If you are accustomed to good fashion that we have in central London then this mall rates in comparison as 'okay'. Food in mall is fast food and certainly not healthy or quality, but just beside the mall are few restaurants that are a bit better than food hall within the mall. Buses 2, 3 or 8 to city centre takes about 35 minutes. I'm particularly fussy about where I lay my head to sleep, and would definet lay use Nikopolis again.

The desk staff was very helpful and the hotel was excellent the only thing that let it down was there wasn't an
area where we (hotel guest) could sit out in the sun on a terrace or quite area.
The roof top area is a communal area for both walk in and Hotel guests alike a small area to rest and unwind in comfort would have made this Hotel perfect.
George at reception and his team where very helpful and informative and there attention to details was first-class the food was excellent and the waiters very polite.

This is a very pleasant hotel. The rooms are large, plenty of closet space and drawers for keeping clothes. Feeling of elegance. The bathroom was large with lots of toiletries. There are three restaurants on the premises--a European style, Italian style and fish restaurant. Not entirely reasonable, but good food. The hotel is situated a bit after the White Tower and thus is not smack in the center, but taxis are cheap and if one likes to walk it is definitely doable. The hotel is located on the beach and the promenade. Unfortunately, it rained heavily for most of the three days we were there, but when things cleared up on the last morning the view was spectacular (our room had a city view, but you can see the sea from the restaurants, lobby, etc. The breakfast had lots of offerings. The staff was very helpful and friendly,.

We were in Thessaloniki for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mediterranean Palace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were of a very high standard and we enjoyed the facilities on offer as well as the view of the passenger ferries coming and going from our balcony.

This is a remarkable hotel, lovely rooms, exceptional staff and perfectly located on one corner of an intersection downtown which is busy but sheltered from the main traffic. Just a block from the water. Breakfast was a buffet of the highest quality. Every member of staff we encountered in a three day stay was in complete command of their task, extremely helpful and a delight to deal with.

Excellent hotel which only takes 10 min by taxi to get to city centre and costs eur5 per journey. Located in red light district but this didn't bother us, as we didn't really wander around the local neighbourhood.
Very comfortable beds and facilities. We were initially booked into a wheelchair accessible room which was a nightmare to shower in and use bathroom facilities. However, we were changed to a normal room upon request.
Spa looked good but you need to pay èxtra for jacuzzi.
