The room hadn't been completely cleaned and ready and then there was evidence of bed bugs on the sheets in the morning!

The sheets and comforter had stains, the power went out while trying to blow dry my hair for work, the lady working that came to let us know the power was back on appeared to be wearing pajamas and a hoodie that was 5 sizes too big, the lady that checked us in was completely untrained and ended up charging my card twice. I was very disappointed in our stay in many ways. Please take the time to properly train your staff and if there is a dress code, it definatly needs to be enforced!

This hotel is more like a motel. The quality of the sheets and towels are very thin. The walls are thin, you can hear everything. It smells of smoke everywhere. I did not feel safe in the hotel. It needs a lot of updating and better care.

Almost didn’t have a room for us because they said hotels.com and Expedia over booked them so we got a one bed one then she offered a roll away so it worked out but the room wasn’t very clean, dirt around the edges of everything, food wrapper under the bed, the towels in the room was minimal. If I was staying for more then a night I would be more upset and it really was just a place to sleep and leave asap in the morning.

The Bad, The Good and The Remedy
This is posted as a Non-smoking hotel The hallway reeked of cigarrette smoke. I have severe COPD + asthma. I complained to the management and told her due to health reasons i could not stay there. She was very understanding and reversed all charges to my credit card. The manager apologized and said she would take care of the situation. I give the manager kudos for the way she handled the situation.

When we attempted to check in to the facility at 7.45 pm after a long day of driving across country we were asked if we could wait half an hour or so while the room was cleaned. We were surprised but did as asked and went to a nearby restaurant for the wait time as there was no place offered in the hotel to relax and wait.

Thief River Falls stay
Supposedly the hotel was double booked by expedia so we did not receive the two double rooms that we requested, but one room with a king and one with a queen. The staff was very accomodating, and the room with the king seemed to have been recently renovated, but the single room needed updating. Overall the building cosmetically looked as if it needed updating. The pool was nice and only 4ft deep max so great for the kids.

Walls are very thin can hear everything. Room keys didn't want to work so had to keep getting them redone. Floor felt sticky and left your socks dirty. Someone was burning incense and made the hall stink. Service was good/helpful

Service was excellent! Staff was exceptional. Noice traveled through walls. I had a guest come into the next room at 10:00 PM and spoke loud for over an hour on his phone. Couldn't get to sleep. There was a cat that screeched every once in awhile. Once I fell asleep, all was well.

Ugh..
Hardwood floors are a nice touch, but the bed had a handful of hairs under the covers (of various colors), the night-stand was sticky in several places, and the jacuzzi had a drain plug that was basically stuck.. you had to pry it open with your key-card & then prop something in there to let it drain. Pretty ridiculous -- vending was broken too.. not a great stay~

Very dirty. Didn’t look like the room had been cleaned in months. Towels were covered in rust from the towel rack. Could definitely tell it’s an extended stay with most people that are staying there live there. Outside was filthy. Trash everywhere. Neighbors tv was so loud that I could hear it over ours and it didn’t shut off for over 72 hours. Got charged 30 dollars to use to room phone when I called the front desk to complain about said tv. They have a strict no smoking rule yet, the people living there are constantly smoking weed in their room. You can smell it all the way down the hallway.

Fast efficient check in The heat was off so the room was cold; floor never warmed up so always uncomfortable to walk on vinyl planking. Just soap and shampoo, no conditioner or lotion (it’s very dry in a cold climate) Worst, the sheets were stained. Management may reply that I should have said something but I had a late night an early morning. I didn’t want someone in my room remaking the bed at 11:30pm
