Save your money!

I wouldn't recomend this shack to anyone! We had a terrible stay, the night staff was completely incompetent. I had phoned ahead and asked if there was an additional fee for pets and was reassured there wasn't. Our clerk got in a heated argument with us on the topic, the staff seriously lacked people/communication skills.We ended up getting charged $25/Pet and the attendant would not give us a receipt. There is no elevator so we had to lug our dog and large heavy luggage up two flights of stairs after driving for 16 hours. Not overly impressed by the room condition, it was disorganized and smelled of cigarette smoke. We will not be staying here again on our way through!!!!!!

asking for taxi from desk clerk not pleasant

Evening desk clerk very pleasant. Morning man? Rude, unhelpful and well? Brash would be a good word to describe him. We asked for an earlier taxi and his reply was"why didn't you order an earlier taxi last night? He refused to call cab company and change time.

Hostile staff, bad beds.

Upon arriving with several heavy bags and learning there is no elevator, I requested a room on the first floor. My request was met with firm determination that I would have to pay extra for the convenience. The clerk then saw that I had a six-pack of beer and exclaimed "this is not a party hotel", as if her first assumption of me was that I was there with ill intent. My co-workers were all met with the same hostility. The rooms were tidy but the mattresses were tired and slumped in the middle, which made for an uncomfortable night. I will not stay there again.

Good stop-over, but nothing special

Pros: Convenient and available, plus the patio door access and good breakfast.
Cons: List of TV channels; list and map of nearby restaurants.
Location: A good restaurant was next door, but others would require driving (at least for us).
We were assigned a second floor room, but no elevator; stairs are an issue for me (artificial hips); we changed to a first floor room but had to pay for an 'upgrade' to the same room features, just on the main floor. Good breakfast. Adequate parking with patio door access for moving luggage.

It was a one night stay. Staff was welcoming regardless of the fact we checked in close to the end of the evening. Clean, affordable, breakfast was good would stay again. In fact, I plan to.

Awesome value for your money. Friendly staff and always willing to help you. They even let me park my Harley under the canopy at the front of the hotel.

Pros: Cleanliness and the fact that they welcomed dogs.
Cons: Faster wifi.
Location: Nil
Love that it was pet friendly. The staff was good and it was great value for the money.
