Clean big room, free parking, 30 min walk to town
My room was nice and clean, quiet, with adequate lighting, and toiletries in a shower. Breakfast was with standard good choices of bread, cheese, cold cuts, jams and yogurt, fruits. A great choice with free parking if one doesn't mind a 30-min pleasant walk to town.Wifi was walking very well. TV channels are mostly in German.

Bare bones
This hotel is on the outskirts of Weimar so you have to drive into the city center or drive to the bus stop and take the bus. The room was very clean but bare. The lady at the front desk speaks no English. You basically get a bed, a towel and a bottle of hand soap/shower soap/shampoo all in one. But there was a hairdryer. There is construction all around the hotel and a little hard to get into, but for my brief stay, it was ok. There is nothing to eat around it, except McDonalds, right next door. It would compare to an old motel in the U.S..... Breakfast is not included, but you can buy it.

So ein unsauberes Zimmer hatten wir noch nie. Spinnweben, Krümel und Flecken auf dem Boden und der Klobrille. Der Frühstücksraum ähnlich, eingestaubt und krümelig.

Einfach. Für den Preis akzeptabel.
Das Zimmer war o.k. für den Preis. Aber im Bad fehlte Handseife, die Handtücher hatten schon bessere Tage gesehen. Es liegt m. E. deutlich weiter weg vom Zentrum als die beschriebenen 1,5 km. Da der Bus nur 2 - 3 x pro Stunde fährt, finde ich es nur für die Anreise mit dem Auto empfehlenswert.
