Breakfast is 140 yuan, an astronomic price for china. Even in Beijing hotels, they charge 80 yuan for open buffet breakfast. The hotel is at a busy intersection, and people are honking their cars all day.Even on the 15th floor I could not escape the noise. If you are reserving a room, ask them to give you one that is not looking over the highway and the xinkai road.

Okay, it is old somewhat by modern Asian standards, but our room was clean, functional and had a fantastic view on the 19th floor. WE actually enjoyed this room. And it had a small tub even, and a real sauna in its exercise area.

location is good since it's right near a subway station but the room was kind of smoky though it surely was supposed to be "non-smoking" room. You need to pay breakfast separately that was also disappointing.

We had a wonder New Year’s Eve staying at the Radisson, we booked a suite and the room was excellent and had a wonderful view of the city. The breakfast was good, they had a good selection of western food items. Highly recommended due to the hotels close proximity to the train station. Also there is a great mall across the road which has a Walmart in it which is a bonus. Great stay! We will be back!

Convenient hotel to both Tianjin Railway Station (1 stop away) and Tianjin Binhai Airport (20 min MRT ride) via the MRT line 2 station which is just a road across the subway exit. Also beside 2 well equipped shopping mall at the side of the subway exit, with plenty of restaurant choices, shopping like Uniqlo, H&M and hypermarket needs at Walmart. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfy and staff are good. Will definitely stay again with the convenient location, shopping, food and good service.

The front desk staff was very helpful, the hotel lobby is beautiful, and the room was extremely clean. First hotel in my life I would actually take a bath in (instead of a shower). I have recommended this location to my colleagues and friends. It's location is very convenient also.

Good central location
Stayed here a number of times. Indoor pool, gym and shopping mall and Walmart within 5 mins. What swings it for me however, is transport links. Only 1 subway station away from Tianjin Zhan, meaning you can jump on bullet train from Beijing and literally be in hotel in 40 minutes, the system is just brilliant, wish we had same transport links in UK.

The hotel itself is an antique. The building is made out of glass which was probably never cleaned. I might add that also the dust in the room was probably never wiped. At the longe, we were ordering one Vodka Martini and a Blue Hawaiian - it took 30 minutes. When the drinks came I saw 2 whiskey glasses with 3 black olives inside and just some alcohol for the Blue Hawaiian , no coconut milk no, blue curaçao. When we saw the drinks we just left. (P.S. the drinks where 70 yuan each +15% service fee)

The hotel is well located and it is within walking distance to the main railway station. The underground station is across the road. There is a new shopping mall and Wallmart supermarket nearby. There are plenty of local restaurant within 7 minutes walk. Our room was on the 19th Floor and it was a a good size room. However the room required a deep clean eg carpet was stained and some of the furnitures were tired. The air con did not seem to work properly especially on a warm day. The service was ok. There were a lot of staff stationed at various locations eg main entrance and lobby. They needed to receive more training in customer service - with a smile and be more proactive in helping customers. Otherwise it could be a great hotel.

The location is good. Rooms are due for refurbishment. Air con was noisy and did not work properly. It was lucky that the weather was not too warm. The room was very good size. In general the room was a bit tired and the carpet needed deep cleaning. Furnitures were somewhat worn. Staff was OK and they could be a lot better with some training,

Near To bullet train station. Chinese name of the hotel is too long and taxi driver not familiar. Must slot Door access card many many times to get the green light to open the door. Wifi reception in the room quite bad. Comfortable bed and clean toilet

Pretty decent hotel and almost a 5-star
The bed and the room was not bad. Unfortunately there was a pillar in the middle of the room and it ruined the view. Actually there was not much of a view because the hotel was surrounded by older residential neighborhoods. The bathroom was probably the only 5-star quality feature; it's very modern and spacious. Even though I didn't use it, the pool looked nice. However the sauna and steam room were not operating in the late afternoon hours. They were very small and I wonder if people would actually use them.

Nice room, location is so so
I had a standard room "superior" wich was really nice. The bathroom was also very well designed, with lots of marble and an excellent shower. Staff were also friendly and all spoke perfect English. The only real down-side is the location. It's close to the main railway station, but you still need to take a taxi, and the same goes for going anywhere else. There isn't much in the immediate vicinity, though I did find a few little restaurants on the next street. In all it was an excellent stay and really good value for money, though I did have a problem with the laundry service; a white t shirt I sent to be washed came back covered in brown stains. I didn't see this until I'd already left the hotel; I've emailed them with some pictures but I haven't had a response. For me this soils an otherwise good experience.

Radisson Tianjin - Close to Bullet Train Station
Excellent stay. Chose hotel as it is 3 blocks from Tianjin High Speed Railway Station (33 min to Beijing). Exit from train station to North exits. Nice room with a view. Clean and large bathroom with rain shower head. Comfortable bed. Desk and wired internet access in room convent for working. Morning breakfast buffet was good with Western and Chinese selections. Fitness room and indoor swimming pool for lap swimming was convenient to break me out of my jet lag. Would stay again in Tianjin at this hotel.

stayed there three weeks. tried to offer suggestions. great front desk but clear couldn't help. had maintenance to the room but no good result. housekeeping knows the troubles too (we stayed in different room each week) but corrections must not be welcome. no other explanation. very frustrating. worse is the city no smoking ban took place just as we arrived. 17 days letter two ashtrays roomed but still smokers in lobby, lobby bar, on elevators and even our non-smoking floor. very very sad. i asked shift duty manager if hotel manager was a smoker. don't stay if you don't like smoke.

Very convenient for the Tianjin Train Station!
This hotel was great value for the money and far exceeded our expectations. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was amazing. The pool and sauna were great! We were able to check in early because the hotel was not full, and we were also upgraded to the business floor. It was all very positive. Another reviewer said that it was 5 minutes walk from the train station if you left out the north exit, but it is important to note that you cannot access a north exit from the train station (as you leave your train). You must re-enter the main station as if you are leaving on another train in order to find a north exit. This might be a little complicated the first time around. The alternative is to come out one of the south exits and go left, walking until you turn left at the first real street/bridge (stay on the little side road meant for bikes and pedestrians). The time is more like 15 minutes if you do this. Still, it is very convenient to the station, which is great if you want to drop your luggage off on your way to whatever you came to do. Going back to the train station is easier since you don't need to cross over/under the tracks and can stay on the north side. Walk along Xinzhao Rd until you see the north exit/entrance ahead of you. The ticket sales are on your left as you enter the station. No need to go into the crowded main ticket hall or to re-enter the main station through the equally crowded south entrance! We will definitely stay here again if the need arises. Highly recommended.
