“If you want a not so expensive hotel”

The hotel is not expensive, furniture was not changed since 1970s, the bathroom was not the best, and in the morning the smell of the oil came into our room from the kitchen...

“Excellent Hotel”

Berger Hotel is located in the middle of the city of Tiberias, within leisurely walking distance of center of town. Adjacent to the hotel is a gym, cultural center, library, and stores. It is also near a promenade which has spectacular views of the Sea of Galilee and surrounding mountains. Public bus transportation is available nearby both for inter-city and intra-city travel. Dining room supervised by Suleiman provides fresh, tasty food in ample quantities. Free Wi-fi available in guest rooms. Hotel's rates are very reasonable.

Area recommendations
The Berger's Hotel neighborhood of Kiryat Shmuel has many Jewish institutions nearby as well as good transportation to and from Tiberias.

“I was satisfied with the hotel. Expect to do a bit of a hike to get to downtown, but there are buses”

For the cost, one of the least expensive 3 stars, very worth the money.

Getting around
Take advantage of the bus. Rent a bike and ride around the Sea of Galilee.
Dining
Get supplies before Shabbat! Nothing is open and it's impossible to get a meal.
