Pros: Friendly staff and free parking
Location: It's less than ten minutes away by foot from the center of town, by way of a quiet tree-lined street. Good restaurants include Raffaeli Italian dishes
There are three Leonardo hotels in Tiberias. The Leonardo is quite plain but Staff was very friendly, the room well maintained and the view of the Sea of Galilee panoramic (room 1505). If plain Jane is not what you seek, this hotel group also offers the Leonardo Club and the Leonardo Plaza. We checked them out for our next trip. The Leonardo Plaza is relatively elegant, akin to a North American Four Star hotel. But The Leonardo Club seems a bit greasy, has a musty odour and the room we saw was smaller, without as good a view, and more expensive than the one we had at the Leonardo.

No more then 3 star hotelPosted Oct 25, 2013
It is very nice place, by nature, unfortunately looks as you are living in a recently bombed and obandant city. Beach is very close but we did not have any idea how to use it in october.

By the lake and convenient location.Posted Sep 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
Relaxing stay, but outside areas need some remodeling. Poor assistance with luggage. Expensive for a hotel with no gym, but good location. Breakfast is very decent and healthy.

Excellent Hotel -- Great ExperiencePosted Aug 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
From the moment we walked in, despite the very busy crowd trying to check in at the height of the high season, the staff was very very friendly and attentive. Our room was very large, modern and clean with a breathtaking lake view. The facility, while not top of the line, was more than satisfactory. Activities for kids (tough we did not have ours with us) were abundant, but not intrusive at all for us - a couple on a a few day getaway. Breakfast was very good too. The pool area was terrific even though you pass an eyesore of an unused closed hotel next door. We had a canopy bed by the pool at no extra charge. It was an easy, quick walk to the Kineret Beach with towels given freely. This was followed by some relaxation in the jacuzzi. We also took advantage of the free bikes and rode around Tiberias, where the center of town and the lake front promenade is only a 5 minute walk away. All in all a great value and lots of fun.

Pros: Very pleasant staff, great buffets and clean room.
Location: Close to waterfront and within walking distance of main areas.
Spacious clean and quiet rooms. Breakfast buffet was fantastic as was the buffet dinner. Staff were very pleasant and greeted us with a smile. Very nice beach area with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Great location. Away from busy downtown area but within walking distance. Bicycles available when needed.

A very enjoyable stayPosted Jun 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed 8 nights and the room was very nice and clean. The room looked like it had just been painted and remodeled as all the furniture looked new. The elevators and hallways looked worn and a little beaten up, but the room was great! The room was extremely quite. A/C worked great and even had a small fridge. Did not hear a sound from other rooms beside, above or below. A little noise from the hallway. There was a partial view of the Sea of Galaee even though I did not choose a room with a view. They had an excellent breakfast with probably 3+ dozen items in a large dinning room. Staff was very prompt at keeping the food stocked and tables clean. The staff throughout the hotel were all very helpful and friendly. Less than a 5 minute walk to town. Free Internet access in the lobby. Note a 4 star hotel in Israel is not equal to a 4 star hotel in the U.S.. On a 5 star Israel scale I would give it at least a 4, It was very nice and I would stay there again.

Much better than advertised or reviewed!Posted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were in Tiberias for a wedding, so booked this hotel for a week. We booked the standard room, but without asking they upgraded us to a premium room with full view of the Kinneret, (Sea of Galilee). The room was ultra modern with brand new furniture, very modern bathroom fixtures, hardwood floor and tile in the bathroom. They even had a mini refrigerator, and tea pot. There was free wifi in the lobby, and as it was hot, they handed out free popsicles to everyone in the lobby. The picture of the breakfasts does not do it justice. There was a huge table of different salads, multiple egg dishes and other hot food. There were all sorts of breads and rolls. Even with most people being there only 1 day, they still changed around the selections. Every day there was something new. Everyone was very friendly. We had a problem with the air conditioner in the room, within 15 minutes they had an engineer up there fixing the problem. The hotel is about a block from downtown, easy walking distance.
