Needless stress

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: LOCATION! Large room.
Cons: Some English courses for the staff, if they want international travelers.
Location: Touring of religious sites, shopping for religious articles and/or art. Tsifat is small, so you can reach all of the sights within a 15 minute walk.
Had a heck of a time finding the place. Google Maps told us we had reached our location while we were still a couple of blocks away. The hotel couldn't give us directions. Drove around town a couple of times before we finally found it. It might help to have a second sign in English. Room was quite spacious with the beautiful views others have written about. My son generally complains about sofa beds, but deemed this to be the most comfortable he ever slept in. Finding breakfast was a nightmare. It's in another hotel a 5 minute walk away, but I couldn't find it, and no one on the street knew where it was. After looking for a half hour, I stopped in another nearby hotel and had them call for directions. After that first time, it was easier to find. It's outdoors, and there isn't enough shade on a hot summer day. They serve omelets at breakfast, but you have to know to ask. And the only coffee is instant.

Moder, clean place to stay in Safed

Posted Jul 3, 2014
O-live has very nice, modern, clean, large rooms all with great views. The building itself is small with less than 10 rooms making it very quiet, and the location is good. The only downside is that breakfast is in the courtyard of another BnB about 5 minutes away, and the courtyard could do with some more shade.

Tsfat in the winter

Posted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Good location. Clean accommodations! Curious about how accommodate peole with handicaps. I had difficulty with the stairs.
We enjoyed our accommodations in Tsfat. Wasn't sure what to expect. Cozy accommodations. Good location! Was disappointed with breakfast at Maximillian's Went there about 8:00 a.m. and it was closed. People need to eat before they go on the road. It should be open at 7 a.m.. Weren't able to use our vouchers.

Great option in Tsfat. Great views from private decks, free WiFi, good location, and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful botique hotel

We never met anyone from this hotel, but that was fine. They gave us a code to get in and told us to leave the keys when we left. The room had a fantastic view of Safet, you could see all the way to Galilee. We were right in the heart of the artist section of Safet. The rooms (we had a friend in a 2nd room) were clean, spacious, and comfortable. This will be my 1st choice on my next trip to Safet.

Sensational View

Posted Sep 28, 2013
There was no room service and no staff at all. Had to wait outside until someone came to let us in when we arrived. But once inside, the room was better than expected, very modern, comfortable and nice. The view was inspiring. Really fantastic with a balcony to enjoy it from. Thumbs up in that department. Because we only stayed two nights, the lack of staff and service wasn't a big deal.

Time

Posted Jun 16, 2013
This hotel opens its doors at 2 pm you will not be able to get in early. It looks like a private house when you arrive and the doors are closed and no one answers, would be nice if they left a sign somewhere what time they open but yes they open at 2

Unexpected And Amazing

There are only three rooms in this lovely guest house, so book your stay early. Be sure to confirm your arrival time, the management is not on site, or have a way to call when you arrive. The guest house sits on top of a hil in the artist quarter. Amazing view, comfortable room, great porch... wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
