We enjoyed our stay, and in general the hotel is good. We chose it because it said there were electric car chargers. When we got there I asked and I never really had the question answered apart from ‘our car park is full’. Just a bit annoyed as we chose it over another hotel purely for this reason.

The hotel itself was lovely, staff helpful, I haven’t been to this building since I was a child, when it was formerly the hq for the police in the city (had family who worked there) A nice few nods to this around the building. Although staff didn’t know much about what used to be where in the building, more out of personal interest that we asked. Facilities were great and breakfast lovely. Clean room and comfy beds. Ongoing roadworks around the area make entering and exiting the car park a little tricky at times, and pathways outside the building close at short notice. All out of the hotels control.
