“A nice place by the San Francisco Bay”

This hotel is located in Tiburon along the main street leading to the ferry wharf. In general, the city is small and very quaint. The hotel is one of less than a handful in this area. Although our room was not ready when we arrived at 3:15pm, the staff more than made up for our delay by providing us with a room upgrade. This room turned out to be very spacious, modern, and clean. Although the room faced the fire station next door, this was not a problem at all. From our observations, the basic rooms tend to be smaller, have less of a view, and be exposed to a more noise (although noise was not really a problem). The hotel is within walking distance to the sights and sounds of Tiburon - which tend to be rather low-key. The hotel is a good base from which to make a trip to San Francisco via the ferry. We'd definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Excellent value”

The was a very relaxing stay. We wanted to spend time in San Francisco, but didn't want to pay for ridiculous hotels in the city. The Lodge worked out so well, and we even spent a day there rather than going into the city because it was so charming. Knowing that I was going to escape the bustle in the evening was great. Clean, friendly, quiet. The restaurant has happy hour before 7pm. Sandwiches and salads were all half price during this time. Real money saver, and the restaurant itself was nice. No free breakfast, but the coffee in the rooms is very good. I will stay here again some day.

It was a great experience...smooth check in, a nice room, friendly staff...and the food in the restaurant was excellent. (Try the fish tacos!)

Nice place to stay. We just stayed one night and didn't have much chance to see the hotel. However, the room was nice and the service was first-rate.

“Great rooms, relaxing atmosphere. Wonderful town”

After spending some time looking for a nice evening get-away near Sausalito and the bay, we decided on the Lodge at Tiburon. Our room was wonderful and for the price, beyond expectations. We had a LARGE indoor jacuzzi that came with our room and the Lodge itself is very relaxing and we had great customer service at the front desk. Our only regret is that we had only one night. We are already looking forward to spending a couple of more nights next time. Couldn't believe the room for the price. Exceptional value for what you receive.

“We WILL be coming back!”

After a few days camping and a day in SF on our honeymoon, my new husband and I randomly found The Lodge at Tiburon on Expedia. It was affordable and convenient to the area we were in. The room was fantastic, and we enjoyed the king suite with in room hot tub, DVDs, and giant comfy bed. We will definately be going back, and to many of their other lodges and such.

“Very Pleased with this beautifully updated classic”

this hotel may have been born many years ago as a classic travel hotel it has been beautifully updated into a warm, cozy and graceful resort hotel suitable for business or personal travel. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. Great value for the price and an awesome location if you're looking to visit Angel Island (as we did) and enjoy fantastic food at the local restuarants with diverse selections. The hotel included a very nice breakfast buffet which made the stay even that much better! we are planning another visit and plan to take along some friends.
