“Pleasant change”
A step above the usual motel fare. Over a holiday weekend it was a pleasant change to be away from the normal commercial rush on the tip of Tiburon. I'd return if working / visiting in Marin Cnty. Plenty of good eateries in the vicinity.
“not exactly what I expected”
The photos looked much classier than the hotel actually is. It is a fine middle-class hotel, clean and comrfortable. A little expensive for this level of hotel.
“We WILL be coming back!”
After a few days camping and a day in SF on our honeymoon, my new husband and I randomly found The Lodge at Tiburon on Expedia. It was affordable and convenient to the area we were in. The room was fantastic, and we enjoyed the king suite with in room hot tub, DVDs, and giant comfy bed. We will definately be going back, and to many of their other lodges and such.
“OK Hotel in Great Location”
Tiburon is beautiful, and the Lodge aspires to Spa-like status; just not quite there yet. But, front desk is excellent and on top of things. Restaurant is very good for lunch and dinner, but average for breakfast. Still, you can't beat the location and you can't beat Tiburon for a great place to visit/eat/shop.
“A jewel in Tiburon”
We highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful, convenient and great staff.
“Will stay here again”
Very nice hotel and close to most conveniences imaginable.
“Loved it - Frank Lloyd Wright would have too.”
Always nice to get a pleasant surprise. This hotel didn't cost that much - so I wasn't expecting that much. It was very modern and pretty. Loved the heated pool, loved the fact that you didn't have to pay for the cruiser bikes to tool around the little island. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The only reservation I had was the fitness room - no tread mill. BUT they have a really nice trail not too far from the hotel that had beautiful scenery (right around the water).
“Tiburon Getaway”
Great location for a weekend getaway in Tiburon. Close to the water, has free parking, free wi-fi, and within walking distance of all the Tiburon restaurants and pubs plus it has a nice pool for those with the time. Got a great deal on Expedia. Great place for the price.
“Perfect, Relaxing Setting”
Found a great deal for this hotel on Expedia. Tiburon is a beautiful, seemingly perfect community. Very safe, even at night, to walk the streets. Quaint, well-kept store fronts line all the streets. Found a yummy bakery on the corner. The room had modern, cozy decor. The bed was soft with lots of pillows. The staff was friendly and professional. The restaurant was expensive but yummy. I would love to go back and stay again. The hotel did hold a $50 deposit longer than expected, but otherwise it was a perfectly pleasant experience.
“Excellent Location”
The Lodge at Tiburon is in a great location that allows for walking to downtown, the docks and a little park nearby. We ended up going to Tiburon for a party but really enjoyed the town enough to plan another trip. Great place and town.
