Tamaro In Ideal Location
Hotel Tamaro is situated ideally on the waterfront in the Ascona harbor. The accommodations are solid, if not spectacular. The front desk was extremely helpful and proactive in calling the evening of our arrival to ensure we were en route and waited late to check us in. For the price and a one night stay, it was very nice. Recommended.

Perfect view of the Lake Maggiore
Bedroom view was the Lake Maggiore and proved to be the most pleasing part of the stay. Room size was alright although the bathroom and shower facilities needed an upgrade. During the stay, the weather was warm and with no airconditioning it was a bit stiffling and humid. Restaurant personnel serving at night was slow that made various customers leave as prompt attention was not given.

Old and unrenovated hotel, with slightly unfriendly staff (at the reception). The room was nice with an enchanting view of the lake. The walls were very thin and so we heard everything from the next room. There was no mini bar in the room.

Für die 2Nächte wars ok.Würde nicht eine ganze Woche in diesem Hotel verbringen. Das ganze Hotel ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkt am See. Das Haus ist voller Charme und verspielt, auch wenn schon älter, absolut in Ordnung. Das Personal ist manchmal etwas unaufmerksam, der Service kann besser werden. Aber guter Gesamteindruck, gerne wieder.

Sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf den Lago Maggiore. Zimmer könnten etwas moderner eingerichtet werden. Leider war es im August sehr heiss und der Ventilator hat auch nicht für die notwendige Abkühlung gesorgt.

die Preis -Leistung ist ok. die Lage fantastisch, leider keine Parkplätze um das Haus. Man muss dies unbedingt deklarieren im Beschrieb. Der Service am Morgentisch ist schlecht, lange earten auf Kaffee, abräumen usw.

Très bon accueil, chambre et salle de bain très spacieuses et confortables. Situation exceptionnelle en bord de lac, un voiturier pour vous conduire et vous ramener du parking éloigné et un petit dejeuner très complet pris en terrasse côté lac.

Le personnel de la réception et du service sont serviables et très sympathiques Déjeuner copieux. Hôtel extrêmement bien situé à proximité du lac et du débarcadère dans une petite ville très jolie qui offre passablement de possibilités d’excursions.

Nous sommes satisfait de notre séjour et avons apprécié tout particulièrement l’accueil, même tardif, la qualité de chambre ainsi que le petit-déjeuner. Petit bémol, nous avons réservé et payé pour une chambre avec vue sur la cour intérieure. Malheureusement, nous avons reçue une chambre avec vue sur la ruelle adjacente et très bruyante en raison du bar qui s'y trouve. C'est donc un peu déçu et fatigué que nous avons quitter l'hôtel le dimanche matin.
