Best Lugano Business Hotel. No lake view, but always feels like coming home.

“Very good service!”

Service was excellent, people working there really go the extra mile. Location is great! When we arrived at the rail station it was raining and we barely got wet since you just take the funicular and arrive 5 steps away from the hotel. It was a nice amenity to have free espresso coffee in the Lobby.

“Excellent hotel”

I loved this hotel. It does not have a view of the lake, but it's in a good location within easy walking distance of the lake and shopping areas, and it's convenient to the train station by the funiculare. Breakfast was excellent as well.

“Divine continental breakfast-better than any hot brekky”

I must start with how delectable the breakfast buffet was. There were so many different tables offering an incredible choice with sausages and scrambled eggs too. The walnut bread rolls were simply to die for. My room was lovely, quite large by european standards and everything from the wall coverings to the pillow menu felt sumptious. Nice little touches such as lemon to have with hot water and cute swiss rubber duck in the bathroom. Would love to stay again.

A pleasant, well-kept environment, friendly, helpful staff, an appetizing breakfast buffet and comfortable rooms are the signature of this hotel. Additionally, the hotel's central location makes it extremely convenient for all purposes.

“Wonderful stay at the center of Lugano”

The stay at the Hotel Dante was outstanding. Extremely good service, wonderful complimentary breakfast buffet etc. The Hotel is located in the historic center of Lugano, a few steps from the base station of the funiculare which descends from the railroad station.

The Lugano Daunte is located right in the middle of everything. There is a hillside cog railway from the middle of the train station to the front door of the hotel. Two minutes travel time. Awesome five-star breakfast, every amenity and chocolate everywhere. Room and bath were clean. The bathroom sink had a rubber duck floating in the sink as a gift. Made us laugh. Just down the hill (through the shopping area) is the lake ferry (a great ride). Carnival and concert was setting up on the lake front, two minutes walk from the hotel. Across from the train station is a food establishment with great views of the city and lake. Other food establishments in the area of the hotel. This hotel has location, location, location. Just a great place to stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

“Great Hotel great location”

The hotel was in the perfect spot to get around easily. The staff were very helpful. Nice little touches about the hotel sweets on the counter, Tea and Coffee all day in the lounge. The breakfast was wonderful. I would definately recommend this hotel

Personel is extremely efficient and courteous, wonderful breakfast, rooms are super clean. Location in downtown Lugano is perfect. Strongly recommended !
