Be forewarned

Pros: the food
Cons: lack of privacy and cats
Location: very isolated and not convenient to leave
I think it is important to report that this is not a hotel, it's a bed and breakfast with the definite feel of a hostel. The description makes it sound like something very different. Wifi is not available, only the owner's laptop when he's not using it. The balcony described would be a wonderful place to sit but it was occupied by a family of kittens and all their food, chicken bones and waste. The family cat was covered with sores and wandered freely on the beds, the common computer table and the dinner table drinking from the guests' glasses. The only way to get anywhere is with the local boat system that comes by every couple of hours. It is only possible to walk somewhere if you are very adventurous and willing to hike through overgrown jungle areas and traverse decrepit wood bridges. Even the owner discourages it. Guests should know about the dogs and cats everywhere in case of allergies. There are no TV's in the rooms as reported. The host is okay but not very expressive. The food is great which is good because going somewhere is less than convenient. The price is way too high for the experience and guest should be hostel type adventurers.

Fabulous family run accommodation

Location: Whale watching in Valdes Peninsula and Puerto Tombe to see the penguins
The owners were fantastic. Because we arrived a day late, due to airline problems, Yanina arranged our 2 trips for us. The family were extremely welcoming and the house is beautiful. The only downside is the location, as it is 5km outside of Trelew. However it is in a quiet location and taxis are easy to find and cheap.
