“Excellente choice.....very safe.”

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's clean, comfortable and near to Plaza Rio, airport and to the border. The staff very helpful and profesional.

“Good for the price in Tijuana”

If you need to stay somewhere in Tijuana and Pueblo Amigo is more than you want to spend, this is the place for you. Across from the Zona Rio mall-thing helps, too.

“"Rooms not Clean"”

The room was not clean, hair everywhere, we were moved to another room but still we found some hair on the bed.

“Great Hotel for Tijuana”

This is one of the better larger hotels in TJ. Is near everthing and the security is perfect. Rooms are sparse but nice. Bathroom is huge. Restaurant has nice breakfast buffet. The location is the best for anyone traveling to TJ. Great hotel for the money!

Area recommendations

Stay in the Zona Rio....best area in the city.

Getting around

Take a taxi from the border and only pay $6. A real deal.

Dining

Mision 19 is the best restaurant in the area and one of the best in the country of Mexico. Go there if you can get a table. Is absolutely amazing.

“Not all its thought to be”

Not what I expected from a Camino Real hotel. They did not have wash clothes, no hair conditoner. And there was no ice bucket or glasses. When I called for an ice bucket they brought me two glasses with ice. It is a nice hotel but needs better management. They at least let me check out two hours later than the regular check out time.

“2011 BIGOTRY”

I purchased a one night stay for a friend (19 yrs old) who was arriving at the Bus terminal in Tijuana and was not going to be pick up by another friend till late in the day. I wanted him to be in a safe place. However, the reception staff would not give my friend 1 Kingsize Bed ( as requested and already paid for) because the did not wanted to adults of the same gender sharing the bed. I am apoled of the bigotry by a Hotel that would pass judgement on their guests. I will never use the Hotel who refuses an apology for their bigotry.

“In the heart of Tijuana zona rio”

Very nice hotel in a very nice area. The room is comfortable. The only backdraw: the bathroom seems very old and the towels are not as soft as we expected.

“Watch your step!”

The large bathtub/shower has a high (about 18 inches) and wide (about a foot) step into the enclosure. Elderly, small or disable people will be challenged to safely get out of the enclosure because the experience is like scaling a small wall. The restaurant serves a wonderful brunch; the variety of food is satisfying.
