Good quality, price and location!

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The location, quality and price were all great. The proximity to the Otay border, the airport, university, restaurants and stores was perfect.
Cons: The parking lot was too open. In Mexico I am used to seeing security in or around the larger hotel parking lots. Because I saw none, I had concerns.
Location: A very close, open & safe walk from a convenience store, gas station, restaurants. Not far from Central, or Plaza Rio. Close drive to everything.
I really liked this hotel. As an American It was different than I am used to and in most ways better. I expected Super eight Motel quality for the price, but this place was much better than that. Comparable to a comfort inn or better.

not cleaned towel and no transportation to airport

Posted May 12, 2014
There were several dirty stains on the hidden side of the bath towel. In the hotel web side and hotel gudance in the room, it is discribed that this hotel has free transportation service from the airport. When I requested the tharsportation to the airport, the staff in the hotel mentioned that they don't have the service.

Perfect location close to everything you need

No doubt this hotel has the best price in town, facilities and staff were just great. The wireless internet wasn't working but I brought my laptop and they offered an Ethernet cable so I could get fast internet trough the wall.

Perfect little hotel room priced right

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Perfect hotel when all you need is a room to wash up and sleep. Rooms are clean ,no "hotel room smell", AC in the room worked very well. During our stay we received a complimentary mini buffet of sorts which was available from 7-11am. Buffet items included pastries, coffee, cereal, juice, fruit, and milk which was convienient not having to run out and get my 5 year old something to eat. Staff was friendly and attentive. If I ever need a hotel room again, I will be making my reservation here once again.

Next time a different hotel

Posted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: Very clean and modern
Cons: Get anyone that can speak English. Answer the phone, don't hang up on me. Install a working Internet. Get a real shuttle service. Do wake up calls.
Location: Nothing
The hotel is very clean and modern, small rooms but still nice. Most of the staff do not speak English making things difficult. Example: I could not get a free shuttle from the airport as they advertise to the hotel. The taxi company there charges about $10 US dollars per mile. So when you want to travel a mile or two be prepared to pay at least $200 pesos. The WORST INTERNET at any hotel. I ran tests with my laptop. Their internet has an 85% to 95% packet loss rate from the building to the cloud. Expect to have internet access about 5 minutes during a 1 hour period. You will try try try, login, reset, login, try, resend, just to send a 3-4 sentence email AND this will take 30-60 minutes. I think they have a 300 baud dial up modem for the entire hotel. One more thing, don't call them, they just hang up or put you on hold until you give up.
