Dear Mistythank you for the review although it is not quite factual. All our rooms enjoy a wonderful view of the Sea, your claim that the sink in the bathroom did work is wrong - you simply did not figure out how the faucet works! That is a bit surprising to us as we did not think we have to provide a manual. There are many types of faucets and we understand that this might be confusing for some. We use - what is called- a "ball faucet". This is a washer-less faucet with an interior slotted ball assembly controlling the flow of hot and cold water.... it has a single handle (!) which you tilt to the left or right to get hot or cold water. We are really sorry if this threw you off balance.

Dear Jaredthank you for taking the time to post a review even though it does not reflect the reality of our hotel property. You claim to have seen cobwebs on the light fixtures at the reception area and wrongly conclude that no maintenance has been done for months. A very basic knowledge of nature would have told you that it takes even the smallest spider only a few minutes to build a web . Amazing! Isn't it? You also claim that the pictures of our website are "false". That of course is also wrong - all the pictures of the hotel were shot by our local professional photographer - no filters were used and no photoshop applied. If these two "claims" were sufficient for you not to check-in at Bacolet Beach Club then we would like to express our gratitude to you for going somewhere else.

Dear Mr Raghosingh Your poor rating is somewhat surprising since you made it known to all of our staff that you had a great 2-nights' stay at our beautiful hotel. Your odd claims of "doors being unsafe" and "incident with the kids" -without elaborating- do require some clarification from our side.Please, allow us to help your memory and enlighten the readers of this platform. After you checked into one of our Tower Suites you and your wife decided to go out for dinner and leave your three teenagers at home. Your sixteen-year old teenager used the SECURITY lock to close the hotel room's door from the inside. Upon your return all your kids were fast asleep and therefore not able to open your door. It took quite some time until your 16 year old woke up to let you back into the room. The security lock did what it meant to do - it secured the door! It is hard to comprehend why you would call the door "unsafe". As a Trinidadian you surely know how a security lock works. It also surprises us that you would blame the hotel for your failure of parental guidance ("incident with kids"). If you tell your 16-year old to close the door from the inside, you should have explained to your teenager to unlock when you are back from dining. You could also have applied common sense and use the key of the hotel room and lock the door yourself when you leave the room! Last, all our hotel rooms open to the Sea overlooking our beautiful "private" bay. The only 'noise' you can hear are soft waves from the Ocean and some exotic birds in the morning.RyanFront Desk

Dear Crystalwe are really sorry to hear that you didn't want to go down the steps to the beach which is part of the hotel's beautiful crescent shaped, private sandy bay. You really missed out - besides walking a few steps every day helps to keep one's spirit high and .... personal weight under control. Dear Mahendrathe gardens are in a very condition but as you may not have realized we are currently going through a very dry season. Naturally, grass and bushes turn brown. No difference to Trinidad, where you surely face the same climate.The Management

Dear Marvinit is really needless to say that your review is packed with untruths and quite obviously the result that you did not read the cancellation policy and became extremely furious when our friendly receptionist calmly explained to you that there is a 1-night cancellation fee. Until then you had absolutely no complaint about the hotel - after realizing that there is a fee attached to it you decided to go online to spread your fake news.
