Quiet GetawayPosted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location! View!
Cons: Cleaning staff
Location: Good location, close enough to all in Tofino & Ucluelet.
Really enjoyed the stay in the Beach house, great view and lots of space. Good service, etc. Only knock would be that the cleaning staff was not as thoroughout as we would have liked or expected. Would stay again.

Great "Room-With-A-View"Posted Apr 12, 2015
Really enjoyed the view (and sound) of the Tofino surf! Free s'more hour @ huge gazebo. Four adults stayed comfortably in a updated suite, with kitchen. Hideabed less comfortable but not terrible & has the awesome view. No restaurant - you have to walk the beach next door, to eat - part of a great experience.

Cost hotel on the beachPosted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Cosy. Warm. Useful kitchen and small store to get basic food supplies.
Location: Drive to Tofino or Ucluelet for many activities.
This is a very clean and comfortable hotel on the beach. The fireplace was perfect for the cold evenings. The room has a small kitchenette so that you can self-cater, and is only a 10 minute drive from downtown Tofino with many excellent restaurants. Bikes were available to rent. Many nice walks near-by.

Great Hotel- Home base for Tofino ExploringPosted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: Easy access to town of Tofino. Friendly, professional staff.
Cons: Rooms were comfortable and met all our needs. However, title of resort is stretching things. Updates and remodels should be the next order of business
Location: Directly on Cox Bay, 8-10 min to Tofino. Bicycle path also leads directly to town. Whale watching, kayaking, gallery visits, dining, surfing, shopping
Recommended Ocean view suite was requested and we were not disappointed. Grounds surrounding Resort were immaculate. Check in was quick and efficient. Lots to do: hiking trails, storm watching, viewing surfer adventures (about 200 meters away) or just chilling on deck with coffee or glass of vino.

Beautiful!Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Every thing.
Cons: A Restaurant on the premises.
Location: Pacific Sands is about a 5 minute drive out of Tofino. We took a boat to the Hot Springs, which was wonderful. It is a hike up to the springs, but wel
We were so happy with our suite, the little kitchen is fully equipt, it has every thing one can think of to prepare a nice meal. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the rooms very clean. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony and watch the surfers riding the waves. The beach is lovely, such a beautiful corner of the world We enjoyed the fire in the evening , in the undercover building, where we treated ourselves to smores.. There is not a restaurant on the premises, but is one located right next door, although it is very expensive to eat there. This is a wonderful place to stay, I wish we had more time there, we will certainly go back.

We enjoyed our stay.Posted Mar 10, 2015
Next time we will request a room on the 2nd floor closes to the beach so that we would see more of the ocean. The wifi was not working for couple of days and when it was working it was super slow. Overall the room is clean and comfortable.

Perfect for a weekPosted Mar 1, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, great staff, well equipped suites. The unites are designed so that everyone gets a view and privacy.
Cons: The fridge in our suite was made lots of noise.
Location: Near Tofino but very private.
This is our third time at Pacific Sands Beach Resort. We come in the winter and there is nothing as lovely as sitting by the gas fire in your cozy suite watching the surf and surfers. The kitchen is fully equipped and the housekeeping is very efficient. i wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tofino.

great location, a bit run downPosted Feb 26, 2015
fantastic location and view, we were able to watch the surfers all day. The suite was generally quite roomy with ample tools and space to cook. The facilities are a bit run down, for example the toilet was not properly installed and would move a bit every time you sat down. What this place really needs is a hot tub that everyone can use. Some suites have them but VERY pricey. Overall good value for the price.

Pros: Very nice view of the water; next to a beautiful, sandy beach; fully equipped kitchen-even though it was small it was sufficient;
Location: Tacofina Cantina (bus in the back of a parking lot) for great fish tacos, SOBO Restaurant for a great dinner with different menu items to choose from
Tofino is a wonderful place to visit and our resort was on beautiful Cox Bay with a very nice room

Pacific Sands StayPosted Feb 7, 2015
Cons: A restaurant would have been nice, but there are lots of places in Tofino.
Location: The town of Tofino has lots to offer. We were there off season and missed seeing the museum, but there were lots of other thing to see and do.
We loved our stay at Pacific Sands. From the time we checked in to the time we left, it totally lived up to our expectations. The staff were polite, the room clean, and any questions were answered right away. Everything you needed to storm watch was provided ( rain slickers, umbrellas). We'd definitely go back.
