Our stay was great, it was clean, friendly, spacious, even had dog treats, a dog towel, and dog bowl. Beautiful view from the balcony, comfortable beds, and a nice shower( small tub tho..) overall, I would recommend this place, especially at the price for tofino!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tofino Motel. The room was super clean and cozy. We were able to walk to restaurants and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially with recommending dining options. Would recommend staying here!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, no closets and view was not what I expected but it was a clean friendly 3star motel right in downtown Tofino.

This is a central location. It’s a small motel that is clean and in downtown Tofino. It’s on the marina side rather than the stormy watching/surfing side. We were very happy with our stay here in February this year.

The woman at the check in desk was super nice and helpful. We had a suite upstairs with three beds, and all were very comfortable with crisp white sheets. The kitchenette had everything a person needed; coffee/tea/cream/ dishes and cutlery; fridge, stovetop and a toaster oven. Two tvs and table/chairs and front and back balconies. It overlooked the harbor and we could walk to everywhere. The only teensy drawback was from our suite there was a giant palm type tree kind of blocking most of the harborview. I would rate this motel a definate 10!

Pros: located in the heart if downtown Tofino, good price, pet friendly. CONS: beds are absolutely horrible to sleep in, rooms are not cleaned properly (dried on dirt/ blood around sink and dog hair in the bathtub, microwave was also dirty on inside), you will hear every noise possible from every other person staying including very loud water rushing through the walls at 3am because another room needed to go pee. BRASS TAX: cheapest but absolutely not worth it. Spent the first night there awake since 3am in pain from the beds and desperately searching for an alternative. Go to hotel zed instead.

We were stranded due to the impromptu snowfall that hit the Island yesterday. As I was from Victoria, I was unable to call as my phone lost service. Once I arrived Pirt Alberni, I called to explain the situation. No refund (not even partial) were offered even thoufg the weather is bot something i am able to control. I was very disappointed and thouggt it was not really fair.

We are sorry that you feel this way, but as we explained to you over the phone this is the reason why our cancellation policy is in place. If we had to cancel all reservations for our guests on the day of their arrival because they don't like the weather our motel would be half empty. With a proper snow tires that you are obligated to have on your car between Oct 1st - March 31st the road is easy to drive and during the winter you have to be prepared for changing conditions of any road as a driver. Thank you for your understanding.

The views were nice from the room. It’s walkable to a lot of nice restaurants and activities in Tofino. The rooms can use a bit of updating. My shower needed work. The colour coding for the knob was opposite so I almost got scalded by the water when I turned it on. The knob is also very sensitive and you have to find the right area or else it will be too hot or too cold.

This is the second time I have stayed here and loved it as much as the first time! Rooms are clean & comfortable. The housekeepers have great attention to detail! There is a binder in the room with tips/information about things to do while in town - I found that to be a lovely addition (and quite helpful!) It's within good walking distance to some of the amazing food places in Tofino and just a short drive to Tacofino/the beaches. The view from the room/balcony is absolutely incredible! I'm in awe each time I look outside. The only thing to note is that theres no air conditioner (this is noted on the listing as well). It has never been an issue, opening the window to let in fresh air has been enough to cool it down if needed :)

This is the second review I'm leaving for this hotel - I truly love it so much! The view from the room is gorgeous!! The room is comfortable and clean. Staff was accommodating when I requested a specific room number. Quiet for the most part - could hear the upstairs neighbor "getting busy" once but overall an amazing experience!! I'll definitely be staying again next time im in Tofino!

We had a beautiful view from our room. The noise policy was very unique. We are not noisy but couldn’t help but have a heightened sense of concern about if we were bothering someone else. The noise policy is that you will pay for the complainants cost of room if you disturb them. What if they complain unnecessarily? Anyways it didn’t end up being a problem but it was something we never seen before

Excellent value
Great location. For the price, this is an excellent place. Beds are comfortable, view is amazing, room was well-cleaned. I would have liked a desk, or some other surface that I could pull a chair up to and be relatively comfortable.

We add a 2 beds room...room #106 there was a bed that the matress needs to be change....the matress was crush on one side...always going on that side while sleeping...HUG..!! For the rest of the room,every thing was excellent...nicely well maintain,clean and with a view on the harbord,with a small balcony
