The decor is nostalgic and well kept. The bus pick up from the port and return to the port were well scheduled and comfortable. The breakfast and dinner (optional purchase) were very good. They looked after us and contacted us in the middle of the day because the weather was getting bad for the ferry and was projected to be cancelled the following two days. So we were able to get off the island that day. A lovely place to stay on a lovely island. And great location too. Just a short walk to the most beautiful beach.

The rooms definitely need to be renovated as the flooring and wallpaper are all coming apart. The rooms are also very tiny. But besides that the rooms were clean and it’s a perfect location. Short walk to the beach. Decent breakfast options. The restaurant for dinner is delicious. Beware that some of the their prices for rentals are a little inflated compared to the other places
This place is great. Right on a beautiful beach. It rained most of the time I was there but I still had an amazing time! Tokashiki doesn’t have anything really fancy which is what I loved. It was very isolated and beautiful. I wish I could have stayed longer and done some hiking but because of Covid there was no bus service around the island or ferry service to the surrounding islands. The only ferry was to and from Naha because the smaller on demand ferries were not about running right now. (I might be incorrect about this, my Japanese is not great!) I was traveling solo and it was a really nice experience. I recommend getting breakfast and dinner included with your room! It was very delicious and so reasonably priced for what you get.
Sea Friend was a great place to stay! It was near the beach, had a restaurant associated with it, and a dive counter as part of the front desk. Of course it's a beach hotel so it wasn't the Ritz, but it was comfortable and the staff were really nice!
They have an amazing and refreshing breakfast. Be sure to add that to your booking.
The rooms are decent and nice. One of the nicer places on the island for sure.
Though there are some ants along the walls and corners, they never bother us and it's as clean as it can be.
The pick-up and drop off from the ferry was really smooth and easy too. Their blue bus is the most recognisable.
We stayed two nights at this hotel and we appreciated the fact that it was very close to the beach, scooter/car rentals, and food options. The staff was very friendly and even though they didn't speak much English, we were able to communicate just fine.
Very nice place to stay. I would recommend getting the breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The staff doesn't speak much English but they will pick you up from the port when you arrive. Check in time was 1400 but we arrived at 1100 and the room was ready. The beach is a 3 minute walk away. Most places around the hotel was closed from 1400-1700 so you should be a water lover if you go. I'd go again for sure and stay at Sea Friend.

Lovely stay
We came from London and the staff were really friendly. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable (plus air conditioned). Our room included breakfast and dinner which was really good. The beach is just 2 minutes away. This place is perfect for backpackers and good for everyone else.
