Good, well-located business hotelPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: convenience and comfort.
Cons: more facilities for business travelers.
Location: Hotel is in very busy, energetic and exciting part of Tokyo, with good access through Shibuya station to other parts of Tokyo and Japan.
This is a good, more than adequate hotel well-located in the Shibuya area, although not as close to Shibuya station (about .4 miles) than may appear - it is also well uphill from the station. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but quite small. Although catering to business travelers, the hotel does not have a business center with computers, printers and the like.

Even the Japanese would call these rooms small!!Posted Jul 10, 2014
Dont get me wrong, great location if you want to see all that shibuya has to offer. The staff were friendly and the hotel was pretty modern, but the "double" bed literally hits three walls in these rooms with no room for luggage. Definitely too small for two people and the place wasn't that cheap. Having said all that it did the job!

Great experiencePosted Jun 7, 2014
We only stayed one night here but the staff were wonderful, rooms were very clean and modern. Small room compared to Western standards but a nice size for a Japanese hotel.

Tight SqueezePosted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: This was the one hotel on our trip with proper blackout curtains. We actually managed to sleep until 8 am without the sun waking us up early.
Cons: The elevator is SLOW. One elevator for 15 floors, with a restaurant on floor 2, means it can take 10 minutes to get out of the building in the morning
Location: It's a hike from Shibuya station (about 10 blocks), and I didn't see any buses on that hike, but it is in Shibuya.
This was the smallest hotel room of our trip. The Dormy Inn had a dorm-room-sized room. This place's room was smaller than that. I don't think the place was designed for couples, though we made it work. There weren't many amenities due to the small space, and breakfast appeared to simply be the attached restaurant. Since this was downtown Shibuya, security was tighter than other places, with a room key needed to even get in the building after hours, let alone to use the elevator to your room.

Very good and convenientPosted May 24, 2014
Very convenient and a strategic location. And because it is so close to Shibuya station, getting to different places was very easy. Probably about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the hotel to the train station. There's plenty of food, couple of 24hrs convenient stores, post office and police station along that street. Staff was friendly and helpful, managed to communicate with them in English.

Nice and clean hotel!Posted Apr 25, 2014
Yes, the rooms are smaller, But not that small! I had a large suitcase that I kept on the luggage stand infront of the bathroom. I had enough room to walk by, open the bathroom and front room door, no issues. Clean, comfy bed, alcohol gift at check in!, house slippers and robe provided, mini fridge in room. 5 min walk to mark city. Walk through to reach subway or walk outside on Main Street.

Excellent, Excellent Hotel!Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Everything! It was just perfect for the two of us!
Cons: Nothing. Great hotel!
Location: It is located just 5 min walking from Shibuya Station. You will be enjoying the famous Shibuya crossing pedestrian, restaurants, shopping malls.
For us was the perfect hotel! If you want to travel to Tokyo, this is the perfect option. It is located at Shibuya, which is an amazing place to stay. It is located just 5 min walking from Shibuya Station. You will be enjoying the famous Shibuya crossing pedestrian, restaurants, shopping malls, and many more. APA Hotel Staff is just fantastic!! Their attention and customer service is Excellent! The rooms are clean. They provide you free water everyday. They also offer breakfast for $12 per person. We really liked it! They provide two type of breakfast brunch: Japanese and American Style. We really loved this hotel! Definitely our first option for next time in Tokyo ;)

Great location, Nice staffsPosted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Location, courteous hotel staffs, free wifi, free bottle water, free English newspaper
Cons: More elevators
Location: Use MARK CITY dept store (across Shibuya Station, HACHIKO exit) as shortcut to hotel. Must try these restaurants: ICHIRAN, Uobei Shibuya Dogenzaka.
Hotel is 8 minutes walking distance from Shibuya station. Check-in was fast and easy. Hotel staffs speak fluently English and very helpful on info about directions, attractions, restaurants...Room is small (as expected), but, clean and well equipped with small fridge, hair dryer, all toiletries (love Shiseido products. Lol). Bed is small (double) but super comfy with duvet. Bottle water (1) was provided daily, so are kimonos and slippers' liners. Wifi is fast and easy to set up. Hotel has just 1 elevator, so you might have to wait a bit longer during morning hour. Many convenient stores (Lawson, Family Mart, 7-11), restaurants, coffee shop (Starbucks and Jean Francois boulangerie are inside Mark City Department store), shopping and department stores (109, Uniqlo...) nearby hotel. Since we used JR Pass daily to travel everywhere around Tokyo, or Osaka, Kyoto...that's why we love this hotel because it's closed to Shibuya station. On the day we checked out, hotel staffs even hold our luggage until late afternoon so we have more time to shop ;-) . Overall, my husband and I, we like this hotel a lot. Beside courteous staffs, this hotel's location is just perfect. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Small...very small.Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The staff was very courteous and attentive to our needs.
Cons: They need more English translators.
Location: Lots of things to do there...bars, restaurants, gift shops, and etc. You're down the street from where the action is.
I didn't expect the size of the room to be really compact. Make sure to pack very lightly. The bathroom wasn't what I expected either. You have to get use to their small proportions in every aspect.
