Great stay great location.Posted Apr 13, 2014
No complaints at all. Although a bit old the hotel has great staff and everything is clean and tidy. Short walk to shinjuku station (15 minutes) and very short walk to the subway. Great good in every direction.

Helpful staff and cool locationPosted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
My friend left her sunglasses and credit card on couch in the lobby and they held them for her. The staff were very helpful in googling addresses and directions for us. And the location is quiet despite being close to kabuki-cho and ni-chome. Close to Shinjuku station and a less busier station, I would definitely stay there again. Nice sized room although decor isn't that great the bed was firm and the A/C worked.

Good locationPosted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: Convenient location, friendly staff
Acceptable hotel if you're traveling on a budget. Very convenient location, just a 2 minute walk from shinokobu station and the whole area is filled with restaurants etc.

After staying in a very nice hotel with no free wifi somewhere else in Tokyo, for over 3 times the price, going to Best Hotel was really nice. We had wifi, and a great shower. The woman at the front desk spoke perfect english and was very helpful with getting around the area. Overall pretty great place for the price. If you are only in tokyo for a day or two then i would recommend staying here, but if your trip is any longer, you might want to stay in a better location.

Hotel was ok for the money, however it is not a family hotel. After hours business activities is part of this business. Usually call hourly motel in US. Room was clean but sheet were not changed daily, however the room was cleaned everyday

Great staff at Hotel.com. I booked both with Zuji and Hotel.com. Recommened Hotel.com for excellent service.

Budget HotelPosted May 26, 2012
Good: Hotel is located in the Korean District, where there are alot of food and shops selling facial masks. The Hotel is around a 10 mins walk from the Shin-Okubu station, which is one stop away from the Shinjuku district. Do note that the train rides cost 130 yen for one stop. Therefore, to travel to Shinjuku, you might wanna take a 20-30 mins walk from the hotel. There is a water dispenser at the lobby of the hotel. Bad: Although the hotel is located near the train station, it is in a rather secluded area. Might not be easy to find on your very first attempt, but there are kind shop owners that are more than willing to help you located the hotel. As this is a budget hotel, kindly do not expect much. Rooms are decent, but smoke smell is very strong, and you can hear people walking in the corridors. Overall: Will only recommend this hotel is you are on a tight budget.

Ok but a bit tatty.Posted Apr 15, 2012
Hotel rather tatty and worn but clean. Staff not able to speak English but were helpful. Decor was dated and a bit strange. No tea making facilities in room but constant hot water available in lobby. Easy to find and close to station.
