The listed room size is inaccuratePosted Aug 26, 2014
The rooms are listed as being for two people, but there's no way two people can fit comfortably in one of these rooms. (As far as I can tell all of the rooms are the same size.)

far away from everythingPosted Jul 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
Dont be fooled by the idea that this hotel is anywhere close to a train station. closest station is shin-uenokachimachi which is about 300 meters from the hotel, but the train station is about 200-300 meters long and 80 meters underground on both arriving and departure end so you end up walking about 1km just to take the train 1 station instead of walking the 1km to the nearest JR station. I would not chose this hotel again simply because of the bad location. With that said i enjoyed the hotel itself, cleaning was good, bed was very comfortable for a japanese hotel, AC was working flawlessly, room was more like a small apartment than a hotel room, even has a microwave, and they had coin laundry on first floor and a lawson just outside in a quiet area. so to the bad things, the bathroom is tiny but manageable, but the bad part of it is the toilet which is extremely badly placed and at a weird angle which makes its difficult for anyone taller than 140cm to sit comfortably on it. the doors to the room use a pin code system, which i am afraid that they recycle the codes for, which makes it way less secure than a keycard. and with no in-room safe you might not want to take any chances. this is a low cost business hotel and the room is very good for what you pay for, but the bad location makes it less than optimal unless you really like walking a lot, but with luggage i advise on taking a taxi from okachimachi which will cost you about 800 yen.

Feels like living in an apartmentPosted Jul 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
As the title states, it feels just like living in an apartment building. The place is not too bad, very private, no need to worry about staff watching you. Room may smell like smoke, but fabreeze fixes everything. Kind of dusty, but you can clean that up yourself. Room has microwave, mini fridge, closet with fabreeze hanging, TV, and a mini induction stove (No pots). The surroundings of the hotel does have markets and a small shopping district around 400m away. Or if you need something quick, a lawson next door to it. Learn to use the subway since the entrance is closer than walking to the main line (Yamanote). Hotel is equipped with a washer/dryer on ground level and rather inexpensive. You will need to know how to read some Japanese if your shower/sink runs out of hot water. The panel next to the door will need to be reset to heat up the next 99L of water. Cleaning people will only clean if you put the sign outside the door. Other than that, not much else to say about this place. Still a decent place even though not close to the main line. Good for exercising since you will be doing lots of walking.
