Impressed!!Posted Nov 13, 2013
Cons: Nothing at this point.
Location: Food and shopping.
Honestly, my first time to Japan and also by myself on a business trip, I did not know what to expect. I was truly impressed with this hotel OVERALL. Location is convenient, close to train station....hotel staff extremely helpful and very very kind....rooms are clean and super comfortable.... Internet speed is powerful and convenient... Cleanliness was on point. (One thing....my room smelled like smoke on my last day, not sure if someone was smoking outside in the halls or it was coming thru the vents...but, i couldnt say anything, because i was on a smoking floor....) no biggie... I am going back December and I will stay at the Gracery again!!

Nice hotel for short stayPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed one night for business. Modern looking for price. Single standard rm is very small, but typ tokyo. Friendly staff and quiet and convenient location near train station and somewhat decent restaurants. Would stay for short term again.

Very close to my company's headquartersPosted Jun 10, 2013
Pros: Clean room. Efficient staff. Comfortable bed. Close to my office.
Cons: I think the hotel is good for what it is. Adding a few more breakfast buffet items (expanded menu/variety) might help the overall experience.
Location: For night life go to other side of JRTamachi. Minato City Sports Center (a block away) is a 700 yen bargain (good pool)! Bring your own towel.
Stayed May 18-22 (2013) for business travel (very close to my company's headquarters). The hotel was clean. the room was clean and the bed (including the cover and the pillow) was very comfortable. The staff was efficient and helpful, but not necessarily warm or friendly - so first time travelers to Japan may misinterpret this efficiency for being a bit cold. My room was clean - but very compact - maybe too compact (no closet to hand clothes, just some hangers for four pegs on the wall). I am unaccustomed to these small 'single' rooms in Tokyo hotels, but first-time travelers to Japan may find these rooms too small and may want to book a 'double' or at least a semi double. OVERALL comment. Good hotel if you need to be in this corner of Tokyo for business.

Great LocationPosted May 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a little bit older but had an awesome location. I had a JR pass and the JR Tamchi station was about a 5 minute walk. There was a major bank next to the train station for fair currancy exchange rates and there are many restaurants, convenience stores and drinking places all near by. The JR Yamanote line is at the station and can take you to the many sightseeing locations (Tokyo, Shinjuku, Ueno, Akihabara). This is also one of the very few hotels that I stayed at that was flexible with my check-in and I was willing to pay 15 dollars per hour for early check in. It was a relief especially after taking the Shinkansen from Kyoto and in need of a rest and shower. The hotel is also very easy to find with a vibrant location.

good location, good hotelPosted Apr 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
5 min walk to tamachi station, which is very convenient station to then move around Tokyo. Very calm area at night, but still plenty of places to eat, etc. Hotel quality was good, slightly small room, but with everything you need, big bathroom. Wired internet in the rooms, wifi in the lounge area (range was small, not enough for my smartphone, but ok for laptop). Loung had also 3 laptops for guests to use and a nice massage chair. Didn't use the restaurant, but they offered buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner. TV in room was only in japanese (could pay extra for extra channels), but you dont really go to tokyo to watch TV in your room!! Would stay there again

You get what you pay for in the positive sensePosted Mar 17, 2013
Within walking distance to Tamachi train station. Good cost to performance ratio. Rooms are clean and the service is much more than acceptable. They have a guest only lounge where you can relax. The lounge also has free computers available to surf the Internet. Free in-room Internet is nice, too. The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch, but not dinner. However, there are many dining options nearby. Only negative is the size of the room, but it average size by Japanese standards.

Good for sleeping and minimizing city travel timePosted Dec 27, 2012
Cons: Doesn't have many restaurants in the immediate area.
Location: Tamachi is mostly a residential area so not much around but this is a good launchpad to get to other areas. Yamanote, Mita and Asakusa lines available
Your typical Tokyo business hotel. Quite new with very good upkeep. Not really located around anything interesting but it's about a 5 minute walk to Tamachi station on the Yamanote Line which should be good for tourists.

Nice Hotel in a Good LocationPosted Nov 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
I enjoyed my 2 week stay here. The hotel is modern and clean. My only compliant was the bad smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was clean but the smell would not go away, it seemed to come from the sewer or inside the wall. The hotel's solution was to spray deodorizer, which obviously does not correct the problem. Despite this, I would stay here again.

Small but comfortable - 2 Week StayPosted Nov 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel and room have a very nice interior. The rooms are small but normal for Tokyo. The only problem I had was a sewer type odor in the bathroom that would not go away. The bathroom was very clean but the odor was always there (maybe from the drains?). Their solution was to spray deodorizer but it didn't help. The odor was only in the bathroom, not the rest of the room. Keeping the bathroom door shut was sufficient. I may stay here again as it's a 5 min walk to Tamachi Station and a nice quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was not worth 1500 Yen. Front desk staff spoke a little English and was very helpful. There is very little space to hang clothing (no closet) if you are staying more than a couple of days.
