“I would definitely stay here again”
Arrived on the free hotel shuttle from Haneda Airport with a bunch of late night travelers but found the check-in process to be quick and efficient. The non-smoking room was spacious (for a business hotel), clean and fresh. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station so getting to our next destination was no problem.
“JAL Hotel, worth it”
I needed a hotel close to Haneda becuase I had to be there Early. I took a Limo Bus from Narita to Haneda's Terminal 2 I think it was and waited a while for the JAL Hotel bus. kind of a long wait but that was becuase I JUST missed the other one. Overnight stay was great, the cafe on the first floor did not open till late but i was lucky to have a Sukiya across the street. B-fast for less than 1000 yen sound great to me!! the cafe would have bled the last of the yen outta me! If you want to be close and are staying for one night, this is the hotel to go to.
“Overnight stay between Narita and Haneda airports.”
This is the JAL (Japan Airlines) hotel chain. Practically futuristic. Beautiful hotel, sleek, immaculate, elevators that silently glide and you’re not sure if you’ve even moved yet. Room is VERY TINY, with a view of Haneda area of Tokyo. Not much to see. Free pajamas and slippers to wear, free toiletries including individual packages of toothbrushes and toothpaste, hairbrushes, etc. Soap is all liquids in dispensers. Bathroom has a toilet that looks like a spaceship command room -- we are afraid to use it. Trouser press in room. Kitchenette with water pot and tea (but no coffee), and 2 little tea cups. Good enough for making coffee (I brought plenty of instant). The hotel has a shuttle bus that will pick you up from Haneda Airport, and take you back the next day for free. We took the Airporter bus from Narita Tokyo Airport to Haneda Airport (about $35 each), and then caught the hotel shuttle. We ventured out into the surrounding neighborhood. Our first night in Japan we had dinner in a teeny weeny café in an alley in Haneda, Tokyo, playing American jazz, serving espresso and caprese (more mozzarella with tomatoes and basil, but this one had lines of mayonnaise squirted in a pattern on top) and seafood spaghetti -- so our first night in Japan we ate Italian. Tokyo is all FLAT -- so surprising! I guess I thought Mt Fuji was in the middle of it… There are lots of bicycles, and it reminds us of Europe. Staff's English ability was not great, but we managed.
“AMAZING!!!!!!”
I couldn't be any happier with this hotel! The service was absolutely wonderful!I honestly didn't expect much, considering the price I paid, but everything about it was great! The hotel is maintained very very nicely and the free shuttle from/to Haneda Airport was definitely a plus. I was lucky enought to get a room on the 11th floor and the view outside the window was beautiful! Thank you Hotel Jal City Haneda for the great experience :) I'm definitely staying here again next time I have to make a stop in Tokyo!
“Excellent choice for late arrival/early departure”
This hotel is wonderful for those arriving or departing Haneda Airport. Front desk is super-efficient with check-in/out, the property is visible upon exiting the Keikyu Airport Line's Anamori-Inari train station, and complimentary 7-10 minute shuttle ride for the international terminal runs from shortly after 4:00 a.m. until around Midnight. There is a Sunkus convenience store directly across the street to access snacks and beverages of all types though the hotel has alcoholic beverage vending machines and an ice machine opposite the elevators behind a wall on each floor. If coming from JR Shinagawa station of the Yamanote Line, the Keikyu Kamata station is the stop at which you change trains for the Keikyu Airport Line unless you take the Keikyu Airport Express train directly from JR Shinagawa station in which case Anamori-Inari station is the seventh stop. An additional two stops will find one at the Haneda Domestic terminal with the next and final stop being the International Terminal of Tokyo Haneda Airport. The property is very clean with an onsite restaurant. We came directly from the family home in Saitama Prefecture and had shipped our two larger suitcases ahead via Kuro Neko Yamato Takkyubin. At check-in, the desk clerk retrieved our bags from holding without our inquiry - that's service. I like service and I believe you will too if you stay at JAL City Haneda. Enjoy!
“I made a mistake, staff was very willing to fix it”
I am in an American and have been living in Japan for over 13 years and have stayed in many Japanese hotels so I have a lot of experience. Staff was awesome, although I can speak Japanese a very capable English speaking Japanese front desk clerk was available. I booked the wrong room for a family of four. Once I realized we only had one bed instead of two we called the front desk and they immediately reassigned us another room. Of course, the extra bed room was more expensive but they handled the situation professionally. Shuttle bus drivers to and from the airport were very nice and helpful. This was awesome considering we had to leave the hotel at 6am and a smiling face and a helpful driver with all of my luggage was awesome.
“NICE HOTEL”
FREE BUS IS GREAT FOR A NON-JAPANESES ARRIVING IN LATE EVENING. VERY NICE ROOM, ALTHOUGH IS SMALL. WILL STAY AGAIN.
“Simple and comfortable”
I thought it was good for the price! it was simple, comfortable, and perfect for an overnight stay. And the free shuttle service was really nice to get to and from the hotel for an overnight layover. Its also conveniently located next to some local food joints and convenient stores.
“Overnight Stay at Haneda”
The staff was amazing. Yes the room was a bit small but this is the norm for Japan. Great service and the restaurant was much better than I remember from my last visit. Would stay again for sure.
“JAL Hotel Haneda”
Hotel is fine, but rooms are very small. So be careful what quality/size of room you choose, because you may be disappointed.
