Room was dirty. We tried to use the microwave but it was unplugged. We called the front desk for help to move the tv stand because it’s blocking the outlet, they don’t understand/speak English very well so it took longer to communicate what we need. When the tv stand was moved the back side of it was filled with dust bunnies. Most of the appliances are also old. Room is not as pleasant as it shows in the picture. We booked for two nights but didn’t want to stay for the second night because of what we saw so we requested for our 2nd night reservation to be cancelled the same night we check in but the hotel refused to give us the refund.

Cleanliness was my only concern. Walls had questionable stains all over, including the mattress. Staff were great and there's an in-building laundry which is great for longer stays. Conbini is across the street and Sunshine City mall just a short walk away. Access to 2 stations, the JR line is about a 7 min walk away and the Marunouchi line is about 10 mins away.

I booked a non smoking room but when I entered the room smelt very strongly like cigarettes. The smell seeps in through the vents into all rooms it appears. When I asked hotel staff to amend this they said there were no other non smoking rooms available. A couple days later they provided a deodorising spray which did not get rid of the smell. Will not stay again.

Very calm & quiet area, steps away from numerous dining options (including 7/11 right across the street) and a very short walk to the train station. Room was clean, very small but had everything we needed. Staff were helpful at check in & out, would recommend this budget friendly & convenient accommodation

My hotel room was very clean. Easy access to transportation. Restaurants are close by. 2nd floor has laundry room. Only thing is you have to pay for cleaning services but what does it matter if price for stay is very reasonable.

Overall stay was fine and standard for lower budget business hotel. Dont like that i cant turn off the heated toilet seat but other places ive stayed at were like that as well. The room had an induction plate but no pots or pans to use it. These arent things that ruin it tho.

The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, I really appreciated their good manners and willingness to accommodate me in any way possible. Location is excellent - Otsuka station a 10 minute walk away and also Sunshine City 5-10 minutes in the other direction; amazing! However, the carpet in our hotel room both gave me and my partner athletes foot after three days (our feet were fine in the APA hotel we had stayed at for one week prior to this one) and the lifts seemed very run down and dirty. The duvet cover was not a nice material. Unfortunately most guests on the 13th and 14th floors (where they seem to put most of the non-Japanese) were full of loud and rude foreigners, but this is to be expected for such a cheap price. I would not stay here again. I don't believe the rooms are properly cleaned between checking in new guests and the hotel being very cheap in a fantastic location comes with some major cons. The staff really were amazing and so helpful, I actually feel guilty for leaving a bad review because of this. I want to stress the staff are very kind and willing to help with anything you ask - it's the condition of the hotel and the noise on the upper floors that caused me to leave a negative review. My advice is to spend an extra £200 on a much nicer hotel in a slightly more inconvenient location where you would experience far more comfort and less hygiene issues. You would not enjoy having to come back to this hotel after a long day, trust me. Thank you to the staff

First impression was the room looks a bit old from the beginning. However the toilet is suprisingly clear, seem to be replaced recently. The water boiler and microwave are old but workable. Big mirror in the room. The room main light switch is next to TV, a bit weird. The hotel is close to station. A lot of convenient store and dining options. Walkable distance to sunshine city. If you planning to visit Ikebukuro a lot, then it is a good choice to stay here as well. But if you are walking from Ōtsuka station, there is a bit of up slope walking to hotel. Overall, it is not bad at all to stay here if on budget. lol

This is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls and ceilings are paper thin, so you will know when your neighbour is using the shower or the TV, or has the air conditioning on. If you do finally get to sleep, you will be woken early each morning by people leaving, presumably to catch their flights. And if you're trying to rest during the day, you have the nearby sports field and fire station to contend with. This is undoubtedly a cheap hotel, especially while the yen is weak; whether or not it's good value depends on how much you like a good night's sleep. Oh, and the WiFi is really slow.

The Room was very tiny compare to other Business hotels but very private. We booked 21days for our trip, no Cleaning Service, no Clean Towels to replace but fees and there was a safety concern. Anybody can use the Elevator to enter the hotel without go through the Front Desk.

Quiet area, with friendly staff. It's a few minutes walk to a JR train station and a Tokyo Metro Subway line. Easy walk to the nearby Sunshine City mall.
