My flight arrived late at night and the staff was very accommodating. I suffer from very bad asthma and often have difficulties with hotel rooms because most hotels outside of the U.S. allow smoking. But Hotel Nikko was clean with no traces of smoking In the rooms. The location was beautiful and very relaxing after a very long flight. Will definitely stay at the Hotel Nikko whenever I am in Tokyo.

opened water bottles

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Nice view from the room (ocean view), good spa facilities (additional charge)
Cons: Carpet cleaning, attention to details (water bottles-ensure they are new for customers)
Location: a lot of shopping malls and entertainment centres, good for shopping & tourists, 20-30mins from Tokyo stn with the train
2 complimentary water bottles in our room were opened and half empty upon our arrival (even though with the sign of "complimentary for you during your stay" sign around the bottle neck. Spoke to the front desk, they apologized but didnt seem too surprised about this and replaced with 4 new bottles. Carpets in the room need to be cleaned or renew, a bit dirty and old. Spa was great and good facilities.

Comfortable rooms, staff service could be better

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Several of us arrived early at the hotel due to international flight schedule. There was a long queue of guests checking out. I asked a crowd controller if I should queue in the same lane for checkin and was snubbed with, "check in starts at 3pm". While I understand there are hotel policies and standard checkin times and challenges faced when staff are busy, they are lame excuses for rudeness.

Very good hotel for families with children as hotel is near to Legoland, Toys R Us and Disney store etc. Hotel provides free shuttle bus to Disneyland. The Spazen is very good for adults to relax. Must stay!

Great hotel

Excellent hotel but unfortunately none of the staff members is totally fluent in English and it makes it difficult to get them to understand what you want. We went on a cruise and it is too far away from the port

Location, Facilities and room top quality

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Free high speed internet worked perfectly, the sea view and balcony were unexpected and rival Victoria harbour.
Booked for location to trade show venue but turned out to be a great choice because the room, staff and facilities were excellent. Located next to a shopping mall (with loads of food choices) and metro station it made getting around easy. There is also a direct 'limousine' bus service from Narita and Heneda airports saving a lot of Taxi cost and very comfortable/convenient. At the front there is a park with 'beach' and ideal for a short or long walk/jog/run. The room was large, air con quiet, bed comfortable and there was sufficient lighting. Bathroom supplies were high quality and room service was fast. The panoramic window provided massive light during the day and city view at night. Would highly recommend and stay there again myself.
