Small room. OK for a night before a Haneda flightPosted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Very friendly staff.
Cons: Better signage in English
Booked the hotel for its closeness to the Mono-rail station to Haneda airport. Better choice (price and area wise) than staying in one of the airport hotels. The room is very small. OK for just one night. The staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel was hard to find. We used a GPS and went pass by without recognizing the hotel. The big hotel sign is in Japanese. The location is in business area. Not many shops and restaurants nearby. We walked toward the Tokyo Tower and found a pretty good restaurant for dinner. Then walked to the Tokyo Tower through a park. The park and the tower were both disappointing. Internet is free, but wired LAN only. We brought a travel WIFI router which worked great. Breakfast is free, but too late (start at 6am) for us to enjoy before catching our morning flight. But judging the tables for the breakfast, I don't think I missed much. Exiting the train station can be tricky. Make sure to look at the map at the station and take the right exit. If you have a lot of luggage, better use the elevator. It's not obviously visible. We made a mistake of carrying our luggages down the long stairs. It was quite a struggle and muscle. Coming back we were smarter. We asked for the elevator.

Good hotel in downtown areaPosted Aug 20, 2013
When I arrived in Tokyo late at night, I had hard time to find the hotel. I walked from the train station with a map but passed the hotel without noticing it. The sign was a bit small to easily find at night. Everything was good after that. The staff was very kind and helpful.

good hotels for couples and business travelersPosted Mar 29, 2013
Pros: my favorite things for the cleanliness, free breakfast, service, and location
Cons: my least favorite things were the fact that you had to pay for internet in the room 500 Yen per day although there was free wireless in the lobby.
The thing with this hotel is that it's a traditional Japanese hotel. This means that the rOom size is very small. That being said the rOoms are larger than most Japanese hotels. The fact that they serve a nice breakfast every morning is a real plus. The offerings Are little strange to American taste but they are fIlling and there's plenty of choice for everyone. the staff at this hotel goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. There were plenty of foreign travelers and also Japanese people in Tokyo for weddings and things It Looked like. this hotel is convenient to the monorail from Haneda airport to the subway and to the JR tracks. there are several restaurants and convenience stores in the area where you can pick up things you need or just have a meal. all in all we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would recommend it.

Enjoyable stayPosted Dec 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
Very helpful, friendly, english speaking staff. Fruits selection for breakfest buffet would be a plus. Also a drawer for the clothing under the desk and a luggage rack would be appreciated. A printer for printing boarding passes. Easy access to the tour bus terminal, train/subway stations and restaurants in the area.

Clean room, good breakfast, no collect callPosted Dec 5, 2012
Pros: Clean room, good breakfast
Cons: Making collect call to US.
This hotel includes free breakfast. The room is well maintained. The hotel itself looks very new. My only dissapointment is that this hotel block phone access to AT&T and KDDI from the room. I could not place collect call by dialing 0051 or 00539111. I had to go to the pay phone near hotel lobby everytime I wanted to make collect call to US. Hotel phone operator was not helpful at all and could not understand collect call.

Good value, friendly staffPosted Jun 9, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff, free breakfast
Cons: No English channel on TV, small room.
Location: It was hard to find, not on a main street. It was conveniently located, & the staff will give a map of nearby establishments.
I got a very good rate at this hotel, & with breakfast included, it was a deal. It was difficult to find, being on a side street, but once we found it, it was a convenient walk to any of 3 train stations. I think Daimon was the best if you are hauling luggage, Hamamatsucho station had a lot of stairs. The neighborhood has some decent food choices, we walked a couple of blocks to Jonathan's a family friendly restaurant with a huge menu. The room itself was small, but the hotel we stayed at previously was tiny, so we were prepared. The bathroom was fairly sized, & I like the fact that they have full sized shampoo, conditioner, & liquid soap, instead of tiny bottles. It also had a modern toilet, & deep soaking tub. We couldn't hook up our notebook computer with the LAN cable, so we rented a laptop for 1000 yen per night. They have a free use computer at the front desk but you have to stand there & use it. The laundry facility was convenient, but it took forever to dry our jeans. The breakfast was good. Limited, but a little different everyday. After spending almost $30 at Starbucks for 2 beverages and 2 tiny breakfast sandwiches, I appreciated the free breakfast. Eggs, sausage, breads, salad, soup, juice, and coffee. The staff is very helpful, always cheerful, and polite. There is a Lawson's nearby where you can buy everything you need, including beer, meals, toiletries, supplies, & interesting snacks that I brought back for gifts. I WOULD stay here again.
