The facility is not the newest, but the place is clean and staff service is good. Location also has lots of dining options and very close to subway. Overall a great location to stay.

Hotel is close walking distance to train station & Lawsons. Room is small but decent for Tokyo. Staff overall is hospitable & helpful with limited English. Using google translate came in handy. Would stay again.

Reserved room with 4 beds night before at very reasonable rate with added for breakfast (breakfast is ok, not great, but worth the up charge). Room was Premium Executive room converted to accommodate 4 beds, perfect for our family of 4 including 2 adult children). It was very clean and very well appointed. Good deal at first under $400

The hotel room was small, unlike the picture make it seem. There were stains all over the bed sheets. There was also hairs everywhere. And stains on the lamp shade. The a/c didn’t work in the room so the room was very hot.

Everything so near(Convinience store is just 1miniuts away.) JR station access is super convenience. Room was compact size if you compare American major hotel chains twin size. Bed was so comfortable and so feel clean. Most hard issue for big and tall size person will be unit bath is pretty tight. My husband is pretty big guy(5'9"320lb)...so he mentioned it was tiny bathroom. However amenities were good enough. If you have children, front desk will give children's amenity bag. My kids felt so special. We definitely to stay this hotel again when we spend time Tokyo metro area. This area is very easy to access major cities about 1 hours or less (Tokyo, Roppongi, Akihabara, Asakusa, Shinagawa, Yokohama, Kamakura, Enoshima, Disney, Makuhari,etc) only one stop to Shinagawa which is bullet train station. Shinagawa station is one of hub station to east and west. Remember that trains run very accurately in Japan! This hotel is really good location and price is very fair. Really recommend it!

This location is very convenient, connected to a train station which is very nice after a long day of walking. Also connected to a small shopping center with lotsa dining options and a grocery store, drug store and daison at the ground floor. The rooms are basic and can use some updates, but we are out most of the day anyway and we only stayed at the hotel to sleep and take showers. They cleaned our room and provided new towels everyday. We’ll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Even though it may not be the Main Tower or the Garden Tower, the couple nights we stayed were very good! So close to the nearest station (literally a couple minutes on foot ), and also to Haneda Airport. There's a Lawson right outside of the building, and also connected to a small shopping mall and food court. We'll consider staying again on our next trip to Tokyo.

The staff when presented with a problem revert to the Japanese form of “Very Sorry Nothing Can Be Done” mode. Unlike many other hotels that bend over backward, the New Otani In Tokyo is still living in its glory days when they owned a great hotel in Little Tokyo Los Angeles. Those days are in the past and so is this hotel.

Perfect location, too warm in winter
The location was perfect, not too busy and right next to the station. Lots of options around but for the most part I was outside of the area. Room was very basic and building can either be on heating or air conditioning, so since it was a mild winter I was pretty hot. I told the front desk and they gave me a table fan so that paired with the humidifier in the room made it more comfortable. Staff spoke English and was very kind.
