Nice hotel in center of Tokyo

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Location and large, comfortable rooms
Cons: Expensive rooms and food, but good quality
Location: Tokyo Station across the street. A nice department store is also next door with a variety of restaurants on the top floor.
Nice, comfortable hotel in center of Tokyo conveniently located next to Tokyo Station. I stayed for two nights on business travel. The hotel is expensive, but very comfortable with larger rooms, quiet, and excellent location. The gym/spa is not large but has a reasonable set of workout equipment, hot tub, sauna, and lap pool that was very clean and well kept.

Bay area view not really good deal

Posted Jun 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
All in all the service is excellent, the location a short walk from tokyo station. Just do your self a favor and do not pay extra for Bay view, there is no "bay" to view lol, any room works, i feel cheated out of 100$ still its quite nice, but for this price there are dozens other hotels around tokyo that offer more

wow

Pros: Crazy clean, crazy quiet, and a crazy huge room by Tokyo standards.
Cons: Maybe the staff was a little too polite. It seemed that my importance was being significantly overestimated.
Location: Directly above Tokyo Station, it's the ideal location for exploring the city. Both the Yamanote and Chuo train lines are a two minute walk away.
Amazing room, amazing hotel, amazing staff, in an amazing city. Really the best hotel I've seen.

Exceeded the quality of service and comfort you would expect from this luxury hotel mark. We stayed both here and the Palace Hotel, and this location was much better - directly adjacent to the Tokyo Station. Highly recommend.

What is says on the tin

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: The bedrooms are lovely
Cons: It's a little starchy
Location: On top of Tokyo station so right in the middle of town
Extremely convenient for Tokyo station but high enough to avoid any noise. This is a luxury hotel with all creature comforts and good service, as one would expect. The food is good and the rooms comfortable with everything you would wish for and need. But it's not a 'fun' place. There are probably much more exciting hotels than this one. Choose this if you are happy with a bed factory that truly works and you don't have to ask for anything twice.

Stayed in the Shangri-La and Mandarin Oriental hotels during December 2013. This hotels feels like a business hotel, not like a sumptuous 5* hotel. It can in no way be compared to the level of service and luxury feel of the Mandarin Oriental. It more felt like a very good 4 star hotel than a 5* hotel. I couldn't fault it but it was in no way excellent.
