“good, central hotel, nothing fancy”
hotel is good, centrally located, but construction was going and no compensation for the noise
“Great location, but rooms need an upgrade. Annex building in newer”
Small but clean. Room had a moldy smell on the first day, but improved there after
“Not bad, but needs renovations to the rooms”
The location was great, the staff was good and spoke english, the lobby was very clean and nice, but the rooms need renovations. Our bathroom was clean, but the living area was furnished with old furniture and the walls were scuffed in areas. The most irritating thing was they only gave one metal key that was attached to a 6 inch "stick". I might be an attempt at nostalgia, but very inconvenient.
“Great Experience”
Upon arrival at this hotel our reservations were ready. The room was small but very nice and clean. This was our first trip to a foreign country but we were made welcome. All the staff was very friendly and spoke English well enough we could understand what was said. When was asked how to get to certain places the staff was always helpful in getting us to where we need to go. I would gladly stay at this hotel again if I return to Japan. Thank you for a great experience.
“The concierge sucks....”
Their business centre was on the blink and I asked where the nearest Internet Cafe was. They directed me to Fedex Kinko's which is fine but.....this was a Saturday and the store was closed on week ends. Nice try. I had asked for an extra night saty and they asked me to come down and leave my credit card imprint as a "deposit". I had already sent all the details for the 7 nights stay via your agency....really felt trusted....

Area:
Ginza, Tokyo, Japan: High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
