Perfect as a home base

Immediate access to Shinagawa station means easy access to the rest of Tokyo. Lots of activities and amenities in the hotel if you don't feel like venturing out.

Lush Garden Oasis in Tokyo

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: The location of this hotel just can't be beat. It's quiet, has a wonderful view, and it's completely surrounded by an enormous Japanese garden.
Cons: I like this hotel just as it is.
Location: There's an awesome Ramen shop just across the station. Kinokuniya is great for osembe. Miyako is good for breakfast.
This hotel makes you feel like you're coming back home to rest and recharge after a busy and fun day sightseeing. It's clean and spacious. Even though it's a large hotel, it feels welcoming. The staff is courteous and efficient. Shinagawa is a terrific home base to anywhere you'd like to go throughout Tokyo. You can either walk or take the hotel shuttle up the very short hill to the hotel. There are so many eateries and shops open until very late at night. No end to the amusements.

You get what you pay for.....

Pros: Cleanliness and view
Location: Excellent to access many different public transportation, including to/from Haneda and Narita airports, railways and subway connections.
Simply excellent! Great staffs, main tower is the tower to stay (not in any other towers).

Rooms are extremely dusty

Rooms are extremely dusty bed spread is loaded with dirt if you flick your finger on it dust flies all around refrigerators don't cool spoiled our milk TV is mounted in a bad spot on side of bed sore neck after half hour of watching, rented movies are not loud enough can barely hear, no dresser to put clothes tiny hanging closet not big enough we had to live out of our suit cases for a week, rooms are tiny as well, restaurant menus are weak, desk chair is too low and hard as a rock no padding at all and stained maid was nice but wasn't trained right by supervisor.

Shinagawa Prince Hotel

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Large and updated bathroom.
Cons: Install an alarm clock. Restaurants ere too expensive for this class of hotels. However, reasonable restaurants are availlable within short walking
Location: Convenient for JR riders.
We were assigned a non-smoking twin bed room on the tenth floor of the Annex Tower. The room was larger than expected and the bathroom fixtures were better than most Japanese hotels in this price range. The only disappointment was the lack of an alarm clock common in Japanese hotels..
