More bang for the buck.

“location, location, location”

We stayed for 14 days and found very conveniently located - especially since we could walk underground to the train station. The room is your "standard" japanese size - definitely not for someone over 6 feet. I liked the fact that internet was included in the price and that there was a coin-op laundry room. The family Mart (7-11 like) located on the first floor had lots of choices in packaged food, drinks, and snacks. The restaurants at the bottom level had tasty food. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

“Great hotel”

Had a very comfortable stay here, room was slightly small but adequate, very clean. Excellent location, 7min from Shinjuku station via underground walkway.

“Convenience Location”

Nice hotel for the price, room may be small for some but fine with us. Simple and clean for back to sleep. Easy to get to from air port especially for first time in Tokyo. This was my second stay here. almost the same condition as my first stay 20 years ago

“Convenient and close”

The hotel is close to Shinjuku station which is c\the hub to most places in Tokyo. It is an easy walk from Shinjuku station and easy to find. The only real gripe is that the room's bathroom could use a ventilation fan but all in all, can'T complain. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have English speaking staff so no worries for those who don't speak Japanese. The room attendant was great, she was always happy and smiling and very kind to us. All in all, a great stay, no hassle, Easy machine checkout which took about 30 seconds. Would recommend this hotel and will be staying there again soon. Thanks

“Close to city, easily recognizable”

This hotel is all you need in this city. Sure it's small, but choose the non-smoking option and you have clean, well serviced room that will provide you with a place to sleep, oh and high speed broadband via cable (not wifi). They have an english desk also which helps. Some 700m away from Shinjuku station, it does not feel very far at all when you're actually walking it. And believe me you'll need the excercise in japan, so many tasty goodies. Another bonus is if you miss the last train and have to catch a taxi, all the drivers we spoke to instantly knew where the hotel was. Just hop in and say "Washington" "Shinjuku" and they'll take you right there. Don't hesitate, great hotel for the price.

“Great place to stay in Shinjuku, Tokyo”

Modern looking exterior, friendly english speaking staff, has a small family mart in there for necessities. Location was good a 10 min walk from the Shinjuku station that can get you most places in Tokyo! Good rate as well. The room was small which was completely expected for Tokyo. Small but cozy and had everything we needed! Thanks alot!

“Fantastic service.”

Fantastic service-the lugguage dept looked after our 2 bags for over a week with no extra charges, while we go all over southern Japan using Japan Rail Pass. WE RETURNED to the hotel after about one week and was given a larger room on the 19th floor. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Definately will book this hotel again. Expedia.com was also fantastic because it was efficient in changing my hotels and debit and credit my account efficiently

“Shinjuku Washington Hotel”

Hotel was very nice. Room was very small, but that was clear up front. Many nice facilities in the hotel and a great location less than 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway station. Great room for the price.

“Great Location”

Great location. Nearby busy Shinjuku but is a quiet location and safe. The rooms not large but reasonable in price and very functional. Free high speed internet, tea and toothbrush etc.. Help desk was so knowledgeable, automated check out sensational, even a laundromat on site.
