Excellent, relaxing hotel!Posted Dec 17, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was such a treat for our last few nights in Tokyo. The location is two blocks from Ginza Street, right in the heart of Tokyo. The staff was really attentive, the room clean and comfortable. A bit more than we usually pay, but a deal for the area and worth it for this place.

Really nice hotel in a good areaPosted Dec 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
Would without question return. Lovely hotel, really enjoyed staying. It is very quiet and everything works. The rooms are really cute but they are not large and if you have a lot of luggage and clothing you may find this a problem as the wardrobe is also very small. No Wifi in the room but there is fast ethernet so bring a cable!

solaria nishitetsu hotel, tokyoPosted Nov 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
overall a fine business hotel, nice design and friendly no-frills service. rooms are small, but the location can't be beat just off the heart of ginza. however, if you are at all sensitive to street noise or giant hums from hvacs, this is not the hotel for you as it is a low building (the higher-rise hotels' upper floors insulate you a bit from the street noise) near a few main streets. hints for booking: there are 4 double rooms per floor, all of which face the main street and are quite loud; four single rooms per floor, which are extremely ship-shape compact and have a window for air but it is opaqued so you have no view to the outside which could be claustrophobic to some. the twin rooms are the most spacious, but if you are above floor 10 you face the main highway type street so the noise is quiet deafening. super nice staff tried their best to find me a quiet room, so i got quite the tour of all options.

great location. Small room as expected in GinzaPosted Oct 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Everything is new and impecable. Great location between the 2 major avenues. Rooms are very quiet, but small as you would expect in a hotel on Ginza area.

Absolutely Perfect!Posted Sep 26, 2012
Pros: Location. Quiet. Well appointed room.
Cons: Smaller room. But that seems to be standard in Japan.
Location: The location is perfect for first time Toyko visitors.
The hotel exceeded our expectations in every regard. The location was absolutely perfect. Located on a quiet street, but only a block from the main shopping street in Ginza. Absolutely could not have asked for better! The room was a bit small (by American standards, but this isn't America). Staff was always polite, and even loaned us an umbrella for some rainy sightseeing. While their English wasn't great, they could understand what we asked of them. I would recommend this location and hotel without hesitation for first time visitors (we were) to Tokyo! 5 Stars isn't enough. For the price, 6 stars!!!

Great Hotel!Posted Sep 14, 2012
Pros: Great location, Great decor and design, Great staff!
Cons: no wi fi in room? couldn't use iphone or iPad, only LAN so still need your laptop :-)
Location: top location! one block to everything! shops, food and subway.
As a four or five times a year Tokyo visitor who prefers the Ginza area, and having tried many of the hotels, the Solaria has won me as THE PLACE TO STAY! Very chic throughout, great staff, (requested a taxi on check out, receptionist went straight outside and flagged one down and waved me out with a big smile!) The Solaria is a mini cross version of Grand Hyatt, Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons rolled into one at a third the price in a fabulously convenient location! One thing I don't get? No wi fi in the rooms? Only in public areas.
