Pros: modern, clean, convenient
Cons: need to be over 18 to use the pool
Location: above 4 subway lines and in a quieter part of the city but still very convenient
What a great hotel, we loved staying here with our 4 month old baby. The staff were super friendly and even remembered our babys name every time we walked past reception. Great modern hotel with views over Tokyo. Also close to restaurants and subway. If you can afford it go for the Club level - the library lounge is a great place to relax

Great spot for business or tourism

Location: Central to many business and cultural sites, convenient to transit.
The room is well designed, making the most of the space. The hotel room has amenities normally found in much larger spaces--desk, small couch, separate tub and shower, separate toilet area, ample space for hanging and storing clothing. It also has the latest in technology for everything from lights to the toilet. For me this was perhaps the only issue--figuring out how to get the lights to turn off simultaneously. I found it easy both to do work and to relax in the room. Fantastic view as well.

Great hotel, well worth the cost

Pros: Great location Large, immaculately kept rooms Large bathtub with stunning views
Location: This hotel is right above several Tokyo Metro lines and some nearby restaurants; certainly not the most exciting area of Tokyo but convenient enough.
Our experience with the Capitol Hotel was incredibly relaxing, comfortable and luxurious. The rooms are vey large, and very well maintained; it felt like we were the first to stay in the room (a sign of a good hotel) and the bathroom provides both a regular western style shower and a very deep bath with great views.

First rate hotel, dress the part!

Location: Despite being above a subway station, access to the hotel from the subway is difficult if you have a lot of luggage. Not the hotel's fault, of course.
Within thirty minutes of arriving at this hotel, I became sure it was the best I have visited in ten years of travelling. The lobby is sparklingly modern and clean, and this continues all the way into the guest rooms, giving you the impression you're the first people to have stayed here. The room itself is large, divided into foyer, lounge/bedroom, bathroom, bath and toilet sections each of which is generously sized. The views of the city are stunning both day and night. The bed was very comfortable, the bath enormous. The place is so magnificent I immediately felt under-dressed, despite being smart-casual. Will bring a jacket next time I visit!

Superb hotel in a quieter neighborhood

Pros: You felt special staying at this hotel; all the staff made you feel welcome and it lived up to all of the reviews I read prior to booking.
Cons: The restaurants were very expensive and the coffee shop in the basement was closed the entire weekend that we were there; no breakfast in room rate
This is the first time that I booked a hotel through expedia and was somewhat worried if we would be given a subpar room or have problems with check in. But that was not the case. This hotel is incredibly beaufiul in a very simplistic "zen" sort of way. Every amenity seemed to be provided in the room (except an iron/ironing board although that was available upon request.) The view of the skyline was beautiful and the blackout shades really worked. The minimialistic bathroom was large and very well appointed and the rainhead shower had tremendous pressure not to mention the novelty of the eletronic Toto toilet that I wish I had in my own home. We did not eat in the restaurants located within the hotel as they were quite expensive but found a fabulous Italian eatery a few short blocks away that was reasonable for Tokyo standards. In addition, there is a least one market witin a few blocks walking distance that was handy to stock up the mini-fridge. The subway is located in the basement of the building and that makes it very convenient to access every area in Tokyo and beyond. The hotel is included on the Grayline bus tour route and it also is included on the Limosine Bus routes which makes it ideal if coming in from Narita although very minimal service if coming in from Haneda. I booked two rooms and all 4 of us were extremely pleased with the level of comfort, service and amenties this hotel provided. I felt it was a great value considering its 4/5 star rating.

Great location and spacious comfortable rooms
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: Room facilities and space (Delux King Room)
Cons: Breakfast costs and swimming pool
Location: Ideal for subway travel and next to Roppongi which is great for cafe's and nightlife
A beautiful hotel. The toilets are an experience in themselves with heated seats and bidet options. Rooms are spacious and very omfortable. Convenient for subway and other amenities. Next to Roppongi district which has plenty to offer in the evenings. Very clean and comfortable. The staff could not do enough to help us and made our stay perfect. Only criticism is the cost of breakfast but in the basement of the hotel, as you head towards the subway, there is a little cafe and 7/11 store. Be aware that to swim you must wear a swim hat (the hotel can provide one but they are not very flattering looking more like y-fronts). The pool is split into lanes which makes it a formal swim rather than a relaxing one and tattoos are frowned upon. You will be asked to wear a rash vest to keep them covered. In all our, suppose to be, relaxing refreshing swim felt very uncomfortable and formal. But when in Rome ......!!
