Elegant hotel with easy access to MetroPosted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: Great room with space, with a desk and comfortable beds and a lovely large bathroom.
Location: The location is rather quiet, in the heart of the government district. There are not a lot of choices for restaurants nearby.
The hotel has large rooms, especially for Tokyo and is immaculately clean. The subway access is in the basement of the hotel so it is very convenient, though the station is very large so you may still need to walk 10 minutes to get to the farthest line served there.

My wife had difficulty checking in as she arrived before me and the booking was in my name. Other than that the hotel was exellent.

Truly first class!Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Everything! We were able to check early before the stated time of 3pm which was very welcome after our 12 hour flight.
Location: The hotel is next to the Hie Shrine and near to the Royal Palace. All of central Tokyo is easily accessible by the subway.
We stayed for 9 days and had a great time. The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the subway without going outside. Our room was on the 22nd floor and we had a great view of the Tokyo skyline. The room was extremely comfortable, absolutely spotless and the service was brilliant! We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Quiet, Elegant, PerfectPosted May 22, 2014
The Capitol is a special hotel with superb service. It's a serene, elegant environment. It's in a very quite part of Tokyo, so if action is what you're looking for this is not it, but if you want beauty and quiet with a subway to more vibrant neighborhoods an elevator ride away this is it. Only downside is cost of food/beverage - clearly meant for expense accounts of old.

Pros: Appearance, location, Staff
Location: Subway under Hotel makes getting around rather simple. Also close to Park, and Royal Palace
Great Hotel, Excellent, and courteous service, convenient location. Room, and Hotel very clean, and comfortable. Dining at the Hotel pricey, however would not hesitate recommending the Capitol Hotel to friends.

Very Nice Luxury HotelPosted May 12, 2014
The overall experience of the hotel was a positive one. The location was great, with a subway within the hotel which we used almost every day for travel and within walking distance of Akasaka. There was also a 7-11 on the lower floor which was very convenient. We had a very thorough introduction to the room and its features by two pleasant staff members. The bathroom did have an oddly located sink area which you walk out of the bathroom, across the small entrance, and into the closet/dressing area to access (there is a small sink in the bathroom but no soap or anywhere to keep soap), but otherwise the room was ideal. A very minor issue of course. We did have a problem trying to contact the concierge/ bell captain on one occasion. It was around 11pm and we couldn't get through to them using the phone. The only other slight inconvenience was on two out of three times we visited Origami we were waiting at the entrance whilst many staff members walked around and didn't address us as we stood waiting to be seated. Aside from these small issues, we had a great time staying here.

Best hotel near Japanese ParliamentPosted May 5, 2014
Modern relaxing furniture and spacey room alignment, over viewing Prime minister's office and Japanese Parliament. Total service by experienced hotel staff is not pushy at all, but efficient and sufficient.
