We stayed 10 days in this hotel. The room is not large, but it is Tokyo and the price is very reasonable. The room has a little kitchenette with a small refrigerator, so you can have an early breakfast. There are several Family Marts on the way to metro stations. There is a good grocery store near the pharmacy "Create" on Nihombashi street. It is a good hotel if you plan to explore Tokyo and/or another Japan cities by train as Tokyyo Railway station is 20 mins away. The staff is very friendly and helped me when I cut my finger. I definitely stay there on my next visit to Tokyo.

Overall, a very comfortable and cost effective venue in a convenient location. The only complaint I would make is that the WiFi network (I didn't test the wall jack) was blocking VPN connections to my home base. Not having that access during a business trip would have been a major inconvenience.

This hotel was more like an extended-stay place. The room was a small efficiency apartment with cooking plate, microwave, dishes, and utensils, plus a refrigerator and washer/dryer unit in the room. It was very comfortable for a two-night stay but would have worked well for longer. However, it was not very clean—other people's hair was in the corners of the floors when we arrived.

I found it's located in the quiet, safe, and convenient neighborhood to stay. I liked the in-room washing machine with laundry detergent beside it most.

Overall, nice hotel. Less than 10 minute walk from two stations, and area seemed pretty safe. Staff was friendly, despite the language barrier and let me leave my bag at 6:30 am (even had it in my room by time I arrived for actual check in). My biggest complaint was the AC. It felt very weak and made sleeping difficult because it was still too warm and stuffy in the room. This was during of a week of 35 C weather. The bed was okay, but I wasn't expecting a luxurious bed given the cost. Room was clean, and shower had good pressure (maybe too much...). However, I felt what I received was fair given the price.

Good location & value
The hotel is conveniently close to several train stations - Shin-Nihombashi, Kanda and Mitsukoshimae which makes getting around Tokyo easy. The room was nicely furnished and clean. The washer/dryer (availability will depend on room type) was useful. Staff at reception spoke English well and were very helpful. Overall, a decent good value business hotel.

Nice hotel, but beware. I reserved and paid for a Non-Smoking Double room. When I was at check in the front desk was saying that I reserved a smoking room. Then they said I didn’t reserve a double room, but a semi double room. I showed her what I reserved and was still given a Non-Smoking semi double room.Will not return. I believe in getting what I pay for.

I like the coziness of this property. Small but has almost everything a short term stay traveler needs. It’s close by the train station. About one minute walk. But at the train station foreign traveler needs more guidance how to go about getting to the right connection to Tokyo Station. We spoke to a few locals at the train station with limited English. We need to take a train to Otagi (one stop) then switch train to go to Tokyo Station. The hotel can assist hotel guest by providing written English guidance with directions. On the hind sight, the washer and dryer took forever to dry a few clothes. Three tops and three pairs of jeans will take about 4 hours to dry!! It’s a very quiet washer and dryer. We like the quiet washer dryer:) Overall a good hotel!

The property was very convenietly located. A bit more than 20 minutes driving distance from Tokyo DisneyLand, teamLab Planets etc. Also, within walking distance of a variety of stores. There was also paid parking less than a minute away from the hotel. The paid parking was expensive but that was Tokyo. My only issue is that the bath tub was not as clean as it could be around the edges. To notice it you had to look very, very closely, but I suspect the previous guest was shaving and there was hair by the edges. Other than that there were no issues. The room came with a washing machine, microwave, mini fridge and tv. We could adjust the lighting from a switch near the bed. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was not noisy. We booked on a smoking floor (as it was the last room available), but other than in the hallway there was no real smoking scent in the room itself. The room came with robes, razor, towels, and other basic toiliteries. We included breakfast in our booking, which was not very impressive (mostly rice, bread, jam and a soup... no fruits, yoghurts, pancakes, bacon, sausages or anything the days we were there at least). All in all, a very good booking.

Short walk from the nearest Subway station (stairway only so it was not easy with heavy luggage). Small compact room, but nice to have the washer-dryer in room, savings on laundry costs. There’s a 24 hour supermarket across the road which is great to get local food and beverages.

Good value hoptel for a Tokyo stay.
Stayed for one night prior to departure from Narita. This is a business hotel situated a 20 minute walk from the main shopping area of Tokyo and a 5 minute walk from the subway. Reception staff were efficient and friendly, providing good information on the area and transportation. There are a number of good restaurants and bars within a short walk and even the Ginza is walkable from the hotel. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with every amenity to make your stay comfortable. Complimentary coffee was available in the lobby. We liked this hotel and had become accustomed to the high standard of service of Japanese hotels and this one did not disappoint.

As a lone female traveller visiting Japan this was a great first stop on my journey. The staff spoke English and were very kind, understanding and friendly. The breakfast was really good for a budget hotel, and the room was clean, comfortable and perfect for my needs. Perfect for a traveller on a budget. The lovely bath products and deep bath were an added bonus. It made me feel very at home and is very convenient for a pedestrian - I cannot drive so relied solely on trains. Kanda is the closest station and this has very quick access to tourist sites. I felt safe and happy in this hotel, which is the most important thing for me!

Overall a great location close to public transit and food options within walking distance (Kanda Stn). The breakfast provided had good variety and meals were hearty. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although a bit limited on space as is the norm for Japan. No issues with the room, except the bathroom had a strange odour that emitted from the pipes. Also some mold around the bathroom door as the venting system is not very efficient. However a great hotel and definitely useful to have in room laundry which we took full advantage of. We would definitely consider staying at other Tokyu Stay properties in future.

I had been staying in a pod hotel up until this last day in Tokyo, and wanted to treat myself for my last night. This hotel for one night was the same cost as 4 nights in the pod hotel down the street. I hadn't realized I had booked myself into a smoking room. From the moment I opened the door I could tell it was a smoking room. The smell of smoke permeated EVERYTHING, plus there was still a pile of ashes by the window. The room wasn't very big either. I immediately asked the front desk to move me, and they were kind enough to do so, without pointing out that I had made the booking error. The non-smoking room was significantly larger! The room I had booked had also come with breakfast included. The breakfast offerings were more than I expected. It was a good variety, and fresh choices.

This was my first time in Tokyo. I was there for a conference. This hotel was really great. It was clean, lots of amenities, including a washer/dryer machine for clothes that was very handy, and great for coming home with clean clothes! The hot breakfast in the lobby was great. Variety across the week, and hot, fresh food. The hotel's location very close to the local subway made getting to/from the airport really easy, or getting to other locations in Tokyo. It's an easy ~20min walk to the Imperial Palace grounds, so my colleagues and I took advantage of a morning off to see that before heading back to the airport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable and useful for business travel.

Very close to Shin-Nihombashi station, if a little hard to find at first. Comfortable bed. Good amenities. Washing machine in the room. The room was quite dry and the humidifier provided wasn’t filled with water. Several stray hairs in the bathroom left over from previous guests.

We booked a 2 beds room and we get a one twin bed, unfortunately I didn't check the confirmation email until it was to late, but that is a problem of expedia, if something like this happens again, I'll no use expedia anymore.

The Tokyu Stay Nihombashi was pretty much exactly what I was expecting, having stayed at an APA Hotel in Japan once before. The room is smaller than what you'd expect if your only experience is with larger western hotels. The Tokyu Stay, in my opinion, is primarily intended for short stays in the city for business travelers but we used it for a two week sightseeing stay in Tokyo. The only complaint I had before even arriving, and I'm not sure if this is the fault of the property or Expedia, is that some of the rooms have washing machines, but it is very difficult to tell which ones. We ended up staying in rooms without washer/driers. This isn't much of an issue as it turns out, as the staff has the location of a laundromat within about a 15 minute walk. The location itself is very good, with two Family Marts, a Natural Lawson's and a Mini Stop convenience store all located within about a 5 minute walk or less. The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk from the JR Kanda station (1 stop away from Tokyo Station) so getting around the city from the hotel isn't an issue using the JR Rail Pass. The only other complaint I had was the cleaning schedule. Our room was cleaned once in two weeks, and while we weren't overly dirty and making our bed every morning wasn't an issue for us, the trash did start to pile up. We knew to separate it into combustibles/non-combustibles as well as PET and cans for recycling we didn't know where to take them and the trash after sorting it.
