nice hotelPosted Dec 3, 2013
We had to travel to Toledo for one night, this is in a nice area with lots of restaurants around. The only complaint I had the comforters were stained and looked to be old. didn't want to lay on them or have them on bed. Room looked updated except for the comforters.

OK for overnight stayPosted Oct 22, 2013
Pros: Was comfortable enough to stay in overnight.
Cons: Could definitely use new mattresses on the beds.
We were looking for a hotel close to the University of Toledo. This hotel was OK for an overnight stay. The breakfast was good. Staff was friendly.

Very nicePosted Oct 15, 2013
Pros: It was very comfortable
Location: I loved that there was a Chipotle down the street. Also, there was a grocery store for me to pick up some ice cream.
This hotel was very nice and had many restaurants near it. It also had a grocery store within half a mile.

Comfortable as its namePosted Oct 15, 2013
We arrived at Comfort Inn West after dark, in an unfamiliar place, and initially went to the other Comfort Inn down the road (the first one off the interstate), only to be told we had no reservation. I showed the desk clerk my reservation confirmation on my cell phone, and she realized that we were in the wrong place. She graciously directed us down the road a very short distance to the right place. Our room at Comfort Inn West was warm and comfortable, welcome on a rainy night. The staff there was pleasant and welcoming. We were able to store the water and yogurt from our cooler in the refrigerator and make a cup of hot tea in the microwave. In the morning we made coffee in our room first thing, and put fresh free ice into our cooler. Comfort Inn's free breakfast was ample and a good start to another day on the road.

Reasonably priced, convenient hotelPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Good breakfast, good location.
Room passed muster with my wife, so that means it was clean and adequate. Breakfast selection was good and fulfilling. Location to the Interstate, restaurants and shopping was excellent. Only negative was the iron and ironing board in the room. They have the iron "holder" screwed onto one end of the ironing board with the power cord running through it. Honestly, are stolen irons a problem? You can't use one end of the ironing board and there was enough cord left to reach the other end! Just found that preposterous and a first for me.

comfort inn west Toledo OHPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, Pool, price.
Cons: Bed worn out, bathroom worn out, not clean enough in the room.
Location: The Toledo Zoo Is great, and we took our son the Sylvania playland and he loved it.
We stayed here in 2008 for one night on our honeymoon. it was ok then. They have put in new décor, carpet bedding etc. I found four hairs within minutes of entering our room. The room smelled musty. The bathroom was not new at all. I called for towels and had to go pick them up myself. The free breakfast was nice and at 175$ for two nights the price was the only thing that made it worth it. If I had the money I would go somewhere nicer. But this place is medium.

Great hotel for a night!Posted Sep 23, 2013
Cons: I could hear people above us walking but they must've gone to bed early - I never heard a thing over night. Not much they could do about that.
Location: We didn't do anything but there appeared to be a lot of restaurants, gas stations and shopping on nearby.
We were just looking for one night on our way home during a road trip. I travel about 75% of the time for work so I stay in a LOT of hotels - most of which are in the $150+ per night range. Needless to say, I was concerned about a $59 per night hotel. SURPRISE! The bed was very comfortable and the hot breakfast was a nice touch. At this price I would've expected cereal and toast - if anything! We were just coming home from Boston and stayed in a place for $220 per night and no breakfast at all. I would definitely stay here again if going that way.

The hotel was very nice, right off the interstate. Good price. Shower didn't drain well but otherwise very nice.
