Nice overnight stop.Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Hotel was in a good location, and was clean and the staff was friendly, also had a indoor pool, and no charge for parking.
Cons: Not very good pressure in the bathroom sink.
Location: Easy to find, close to the zoo, nice bistro at hotel accros the parking lot.
This was a nice hotel, right off the interstate, and close to the Toledo zoo.

A Hotel Off the HighwayPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The pool.
Cons: The staff
Location: The highway.
The hotel was marginal. There wasn't anything to eat super close by and the staff didn't seem to be to into helping the guests. It had a pool and was clean enough, but the breakfast was lackluster.

under renovationPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: The staff accommodated my need to change a non-refundable stay without charging me extra. Very much appreciated!!!!
The hotel was under renovation when I stayed but it was still clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation on restaurants that delivered and they not only provided the menus, but gave input on each one. One surprise I got, was at breakfast. After a cross country trip and staying at several hotels in the previous 2 weeks, it was a nice surprise to see a bowl of yogurt versus the individual serving containers. This was nice because they also had granola available to top it. This reminded me of staying in Europe where they provide bowls of quark and you can take however much you want rather than being forced to the prepackaged containers. I highly recommend this hotel for someone who is traveling through Toledo or north central OH.

Would stay againPosted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Good breakfast included, pool & spa hours till midnight, cookies & coffee anytime, CLEAN.
Location: Casino 4mile north, Bass Pro right there, nice out of busy area safe and clean.
Loved pool hours, till midnight. Room clean and spacious. Booked last minute through Expedia, like 4 hours before arrival. No problems. Staff helpful and outgoing. Free cookies & coffee 24-7. Breakfast Included, was good and filling. Something for everyone, just look. Looks like under repairs, maybe recent flood. Did not affect our 2 adult stay king suite.

Freeway Close, maybe too closePosted Feb 14, 2014
Cons: more sound proofing.
Country Inn is convenient and a comparative good value. It has all the amenities that one could possibly want or even think of. The only down side was my room was separated from the freeway by a narrow parking lot. Interestingly, when I brought my GPS inside the room to program my next destination, it assumed that I was on the freeway. Pulling out of the parking lot I got the familiar "recalculating!". Perhaps there were several factors for my restless sleep, but the noise of big rigs downshifting at 4 am didn't help. If you think this might be an issue, ask for a room on the "front side" of the hotel. I assume they would be much quieter.

OK IN A PINCHPosted Jan 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
We arrived late at night during the big deep freeze and the hotel was a mess. There must have been a burst pipe, but the girl at the desk just chawed on her gum and didn't seem to care that we were there. No apology or explanation for the state of the first floor...dryers and cords everywhere. Anyway, it doesn't inspire confidence in the hotel with that kind of greeting. Makes such a huge difference to have professional, intent people at the desk. The room was the disability room, which has happened to us several times using Hotels.com. This time it was fine, but the last time it happened we had formal clothing with us for a wedding and there wasn't a place to hang anything long because it is all low enough for a person in a wheelchair to reach. Also, the bathrooms are never separated...the sink and everything all in one room. Annoying for more than two people. All in all it was fine for a quick overnight stay. Not a place I'd want to stay for more than a night.
