Pros: Location to the Hollywood Casino and the staff
Its a great location from the Hollywood Casino, that's why we picked The Days Inn. But it was very sub-standard. And the hotel could make a mint if it invested in and overhaul of the property. Since the Casino has no Hotel attached this would and could be a perfect spot. But I would rather go farther out , even Downtown Toledo for a better room and pay a little more to be comfortable in my next stay. No, I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone !

Candy by lamp

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Location was good , right off the Freeway.
We were given a band to use for the pool instead of using our room key to keep the local kids out of it. The room had marks on the door as someone had tried to break in in the past. Someone came knocking at our door at 6:00 am as they had wrote the wrong room number on her card. There was a sucker beside the lamp and food pieces on the floor by the bed. The sliding doors did not have a security bar for us to use. No one was supervising the breakfast room .

dilapidated hotel that needs a lot of fixing up!!!

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: the hotel had a bar and grill--dinner was pretty good and service was good!
Cons: Everything needs to be improved! Pillows were terrible too!
Location: Only thing to do near by was to go to the casino! NO luck there either!
our room was somewhat clean. several plugs and lights did not work. hall ways were a bit dirty-smoking in the hallways --signs said no smoking allowed! we did stay on the 4th of July weekend--but the noise slamming doors, and screaming went on for most of the night! There was supposed to be a continental breakfast--watered orange juice, uncooked oatmeal, a few donuts and many people in line arguing over the waffle machine, not enough batter for waffles, not enough food for as many people who were staying at the hotel. We had to go out. The next evening and night was just as loud--kids running in and out doors slamming adults swearing until well after midnight. It was a very disappointing weekend.

Nice staff, awful facilities

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: The people working there were friendly and helpful
Cons: The physical conditions. Clean it up, make repairs, and get some equipment into the exercise room.
Location: This place is sitting right across from the new casino. A great location!! It is also close to downtown. It is right off of 75.
I think the staff was great. I am really confused about this hotel. It is sitting in a prime location for those visiting the Hollywood casino; yet, it is in terrible condition. The price was great, and I should have known better, but I don't understand why the curtains in the room were torn, the exercise room contained a shopping cart, a water machine, a stationary bicycle, and a television. There was a great breakfast except there was no fruit at all. The swimming area had a spa that was taped off with caution tape. The locals gave me an earful about the reputation of the hotel. There is peeling paint outside. There were many guests there, so business is good. C'mon owners, get this place in shape and make it a place to be proud of.

No frills

Pros: Location and price
Cons: The doors to the facility were not locked and it the debris from the overnight party could have been cleaned up before noon.
Location: Right off of I-75. Very close to the Casino. Downtown is the next exit off I-75.
Stayed two days. The staff was friendly and personable. The location was close to downtown and the casino. There is a bar "Jill's" onsite. On the first night a group of kids had a graduation party that the front desk had not been informed of. In the morning there was quite a lot of pop cans and fast food wrappers in the hallways, but they were cleaned up by the following evening. In my room the coffee was not replenished for the second night. The pool was closed for repairs. Overall, not bad considering the price. Just don't expect more than a fairly clean room and a close location to downtown Toledo and the casino.
