the property had burned and was closed two weeks before our stay was to take place. We were never notified and had to scramble at 10 pm to find a place to stay. was not very convenient to find out after getting there we had no place to stay.

Staff was friendly. Pool wasn’t what the web said it would be. It was very cloudy and kinda green. Some thing must be wrong with the pipping our tub was clogged as well so I didn’t shower. Slept well though.

The lobby and dining room floors and carpets were filthy. They were "out" of plastic forks to eat breakfast with. The decor of hotel was hideous...looked like it was last updated in the 70's. Toilet in bathroom was badly stained from age. However, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Do not stay here!!!!!!!!!
Our room was dirty. Sheets on inside out. Pubic hair on bathroom floor. Fake nail on the bathroom floor. Dirty napkins in our microwave. No lock on our door. Have tried every day to get ahold of general manager with no luck. Every front desk person I’ve spoken with has been so rude.

Staff was very attentive and courteous. Only downfall was that fire alarm went off a few times during the night due to some insubordinate clients.

The hotel is very old and the rooms need to be completely renovated. The furnishings in the rooms are very outdated and damaged in areas. (We saw a total of 3 rooms) The garbage cans were completely overflowing on the premises & in the parking lot. We had requested a room in a quiet area and they gave us a room on the backside that is literally 40’ from a huge trucking depot where semi’s load up throughout the night… very loud! Some honked horns; their backup beepers & engines were loud as well. We had checked in early, at 3:30 and requested the other side and they refused us the front side… perhaps because we booked online using Expedia? We were very, very disappointed… I partly blame using Expedia and will refrain from booking online. It’s not worth saving a few dollars.

The room I booked (two beds) was not available upon arrival… the staff indicated they had rooms that needed maintenance which was why my room was no longer available…. However the hotel parking lot was not full. They did switch me to a single king bed room. When I went to the room, the smell of mildew and mold due to invisible water damage was overwhelming and unbearable. I requested another room and was given a king bed suite. After using the restroom, a fire signal in the bathroom (which was filled with dirty water), started leaking and dripping on the floor. I requested another room, which was granted but upon entering, the mildew smell was present and the window was leaking, very bad as it was raining and the sill and ac unit were soaked with water. In the end, we went back to the second room. I was uncomfortable all evening and wish I would have booked a hotel elsewhere. In addition, the pool water was ice cold and the hot tub was covered and boarded up, unusable.

Location was good. Too many broken things including the elevator that made horrible sounds, no ice machine, pool looked like a swamp, and the fire alarm at 1 am with zero explanation of what happened.

Not worth the price
We needed to make last minute reservations close to the hospital so I was not able to do a lot of shopping around and the 1st hotel I tried was already booked full. While it was close to the hospital I felt the price for the condition and location was high. I did like the spaciousness of the rooms, however that is about the only positive of staying there. Thankfully it was a short one night visit. Also, I was trying to call while we were on our way driving there for about an hour and could not get through. They said they had an "incident" at the hotel they were dealing with. They ran out of almost ALL of breakfast early on.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Facility was dirty and dingy. We didn't have kleenex, toilet paper or wash cloths when we first entered the room. When I picked up the phone to call the front desk, there was no cord on the phone, it was just a prop. Moulding was coming off the wall, wallpaper was peeling. In dining room, duct tape was on the walls to hold things up. There is more but you get the gist. Terrible experience.

Horrible from start to finish. Staff appeared to be anti-social at best. Hotel itself is becoming run down. Cleanliness does not appear to be in its vocabulary. This is one of the worst examples of hospitality that I have seen. Would not recommend to anyone. Would not kennel my dog there.

Upon checking in the whole place had a noticeable odor. We weren’t expecting a five star place, so no big deal. The room itself smelled like someone had smoked in there even though it was non smoking. We were in our room for less than an hour when strangers used a key assigned by the front desk to enter our room!!! Both my fiancé and I were having relations and exposed to these people! I have never been so mortified! We immediately went to the front desk to check out because we did not feel safe staying there, or leaving our belongings in the room.

The service here was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I didn’t see a lot around the hotel to do, but it is close to Toledo and right off the highway for anyone passing through.

The first room we checked into smelled like smoke. The TV was not working. The pool was not open, the vending machines were empty. I would never stay here again or recommend the property. We were supposed to stay two nights and checked out after the first night. The outside of the hotel was not kept very well. Very disappointing for a Marriott. Do not stay here.

The only morning I was there, the breakfast wasn’t served until 7:15. To me that’s late to start serving breakfast. Also, the rooms don’t have USB outlets. The swimming pool was not clean and had debris at the bottom. Overall, an average hotel to stay in. Will look for other options in the area if I visit next time.

Really understaffed and unprepared for a Saturday night. Oversold rooms and did not have the 2 Queen available that we reserved so we had to have a pullout couch, no linens provided in the room. Our room had Fritos on the floor when we first got there. Very thin walls and a loud, rowdy Saturday night in the hotel. Fire Alarm went off at midnight. Breakfast was totally understaffed and unprepared for a busy Sunday morning.

We booked the king suite. It was very expensive for the location as we thought for 163 there was a pool in the king suite according to pictures. Also the pool itself was very cold as well as the temp outside. The hot tub wasn't even the slightest bit warm.

Staff wrote down my cc info and my card had 3 fraudulent charges an hour later. When arrived my 2nd night, my key wouldnt work. When i inquirded at the front desk, i was told my room was abandoned and was not let in until convincing them i paid for it.with proof on Expedia.Thankfully my things were still in room. Next morning housekeeping ignored the do not disturb sign and came in the room claiming i shouldn't be in there. I explained the situation, they left, only to return an hour later saying the room should be vacant and i cant be there. I had proof of paying for 2 nights thru Expedia. The manager ignored my attempts of contact. The elevator didn't work and the fire alarms kept going off. Any kind of refund has been refused after talking in circles for the last month. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and used to recommend it to others. No way after this. Especially after my credit card was compromised. And im getting emails stating thank you for your stay on dates ive never been there. Ive given them opportunities to make this right before writing this review but they must not care.

The room that was shown online when booking was not the same room when we arrived and checked in. The front desk did change our room to include the couch, which was dirty, but did not include the big bath tub that had been shown in the picture of the individual room. The room was dirty, the curtains had noticeable spots of something being spilled on them and so did the walls. There was a receipt from December on the floor by the bed and a fork. The girl at the front desk was rather rude. The hot tub didn’t work which was not mentioned on the website. Over all we were very disappointed in the amount of money we spent on something that wasn’t what it was presented to be. Will not be going back.
