We reserved a non smoking room but the one assigned to us had definitely been smoked in. The front desk immediately changed our room and this one was perfect. Bit of an inconvenience but overall worked out. Looks like the 2nd floor rooms are being totally gutted refurbished and refitted , should be awesome

We discovered this place last year while driving to an annual fishing gig. We had a lovely stay and chose to stay here again this year. We will come back next year. Pros: The residents were very quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and exactly as advertised. There are some great dining options within 15 minutes. Neutral: The breakfast has hard boiled eggs, a waffle station, hot and cold cereals, breads to toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit, juice and coffee. All was good, particularly for the price point. If you are looking for a more substantial breakfast there are good options nearby. Cons: It is right near the highway, so if folks are bothered by highway noise that might be an issue. It was not for us and we stayed on the side closest to the highway. You can always ask for a room on the side away from the highway.

Main road leading in is a bit obscure but making a left hand turn anywhere after the gas station will get you there.

The exterior had alot of trash laying around. The "hot" breakfast consisted only of waffles nothing else. The pastries were all pre-packaged and when opened the bottom of the pastry was slimey. Would not stay here again nor would I recommend

I am sorry that you were under the impression we currently have a hot breakfast. Once we are done renovating the guest room bathrooms, we will move onto the breakfast room. We will then have the proper facilities for an expanded hot breakfast like our sister Inn and suites properties offer. We have dropped the ball with the staying on top of the debris created from our construction. There is not excuse for that! I sure do hope that once we are fully renovated, you will consider coming back, and let us show you a positive stay experience.Regards,Joyce M, GM

The hotel is remodeling rooms and we were given a room right across from the rooms that were being worked on. The hotel parking lot was empty, so we were not sure why we were given a room right by the construction. The workers were drilling and pounding till later in the evening and started working and making noise early in the morning. The hotel is right next to the interstate and is very noisy. The woman that checked us in was very nice. The woman that checked us out never said one word. Very limited options offered at breakfast. Definitely would not stay here again.

We also have three standard king rooms,(one on each floor) that are also away from the highway. All our rooms with two double beds are also located away from the highway. The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The was plenty of parking area. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. The continental breakfast was good and the eating area was spotless. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and do recommend it. Please note, that the hotel is tricky to find; if you are coming off of I-75 North, stay in the right lane when come to the lights. If you turn left too quickly, you end up on I-75 South. The restaurants in this area are a short drive away. There is only one restaurant that is within walking distance.

The staff are warm and pleasant. There was an issue with the second of the 2 rooms I had reserved, somehow the hotel missed it even though it was clearly listed in my itinerary. The other couple had to take a room with 2 double beds when I had reserved a king room. Also, our room was on the highway side and was very noisy, could hear every car on the hwy.
